Enjoyed the views of Downtown Cleveland and seeing the water. Lake Eerie is significantly clearer and cleaner than the Chesapeake Bay! Lots of trails for walking and green-space for enjoying.

I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio and though I haven't lived there since the late 1980's we return often to visit family and friends. Many of my fondest memories growing up involve Lakewood Park. From swimming at the public pool to fireworks on the 4th of July, picnics, playground, to ice-skating to just enjoying the view of Lake Erie we have loved the park. In recent years the Lakefront Promenade made Lakewood Park that much more of a destination! I love to walk it with my camera in hand. If you are anywhere nearby, make a stop at Lakewood Park. Whether you are alone, on a date, or with the family, you WILL want to return again and again!

Lakewood Park is such a wonderful place to relax, watch the waves crash, or get some exercise in. There is a skate park, tennis courts,swimming pool, playground, bench swings, and volleyball areas, During the summer, there are concerts and movies there. The park is right on the water, which offers a nice view of the Cleveland Skyline. Definitely a nice place to visit as the sun is setting. Highly recommend!

Nice safe park located in Lakewood. Close to downtown. Tennis courts, public swimming pool, volleyball courts. Take the steps down to the lake for the best view of Cleveland's skyline.

Every Sunday during the summer they have free concerts in the park. We pack a picnic basket, load our little old dog up in a red wagon with some blankets and walk down there for a great picnic with a soundtrack. Wonderful time!

If you're looking for a clean place watching endless water, sound of waves, and relax, you're in the right place. You can watch sunset at the end of the horizon while sitting on a clean bench or swinging on a small swing. You feel like a flying bird. You can stroll over a well maintained promenade with lovely trees that would not block the beautiful scene.
