We very much enjoyed the Times Union Center. It was clean and comfortable and a great place to watch a show, in this case, Harry Connick Jr. However, getting a taxi following the show is nearly impossible. We waited about 30 minutes before one finally drove by and we flagged it down. With several thousand people leaving the theatre I was very surprised to learn that taxi drivers were not interested in servicing that area following a show. I recommend that you make your arrangements for pick-up before the show.

I really enjoyed this place! Doesn't seem like there is a bad seat to be had! I just wish drinks were allowed inside during shows, but overall I highly recommend it!!

From musicals to dramas the Times Union Center delivers. If you can't find something at the TUC that tickles your fancy you are just not looking.

We bought tickets to see "Dirty Dancing" through Groupon. We had never been to this theater before. We were quite pleased with both the venue and the production. Be advised though, I bought a cup of hot chocolate from the snack area in the lobby and it was so hot that it burned my tongue, even after I had put three containers of cream into it to try to cool it off a bit. It had to be near the boiling point. I bought it 20 minutes before we needed to go into the show and it took most of that time before I could drink it. No reason for the water to be that hot. So, stay away from the hot chocolate, but go to a show at The Times-Union. You won't regret it.

Throughout the years I have seen concerts, broadway plays, and comedians and have sat in just about every section there is, and there isnt a bad seat in the house. It's newer than the Florida Theatre and more intimate than the Veterans Memorial Arena. Just booked box seats for an upcoming event and couldnt be more excited! The view of the river at intermission is breathtaking.

I saw Wicked and The Lion King at this theater and they were wonderful!!!! We got seats close to the front and this theater does not disappoint! Also the view outside by the water is very romantic! Anytime I get the chance to see a show here... I will!

We sat in row GG which was a little too far back for my taste. We had binoculars so that helped to see the facial expressions on the dancers but if I return I will opt for a seat closer to the stage.

We frequently see shows here throughout the year and have never been disappointed. The theater itself is beautiful and nicely maintained. And it's always nice to walk outside during intermission and warm up by the water -- they keep the theater freezing so make sure you bring a jacket or sweater.The theater consistently attracts outstanding shows year after year so there's always something for everyone. As this is in downtown Jacksonville, the parking can be challenging so plan accordingly. But there are always police officers directing traffic and making it easy for theater goers to cross the street safely. I think going to the theater is one of the best ways to spend a few hours and this is a lovely place to do so.

This is a great venue in Jacksonville FL. We have been many times to see many off Broadway shows, comedy, Symphonic Orchestra...and always been very satisfied.

Nice building and clean, classy look inside. The views and acoustics are good and the ushers seem friendly.
