Don't miss this great museum of Naval Aviation. Equals the quality of exhibits at The Smithsonian. Give yourself 2 to3 hours to see the exhibits and movies.

The museum contains the history not only of our Navy, but of the Blue Angels. Exhibits are educational and fascinating and the staff are friendly and informative. Not to be missed!

My wife, friends and I went here to visit the Naval Air Museum. The experience was awesome to see all the different Navy and Marine aircraft. There was so much to see and do that one day really isn't enough time to read the information and hear explanations. Of particular interest was the new Coast Guard Museum and the Vietnam exhibit. In addition, my wife and I did the Blue Angels flight simulator ($5/each). There was also a simulator for jet aircraft ($20 for 1 or 2 people). The staff was great. BTW-there is no charge to visit the museum. A free will donation is requested.I highly recommend this attraction.

Pensacola NAS is a beautiful base with much history. The Naval Air Museum is top notch, the lighthouse is historic, the old Naval Hospital area with the mosquito wall is very interesting,an old fort (forgot the name) near the museum. I love the historic officers quarters homes overlooking the chapel.Thegolf course is top notch. OakGrove camping area is very popular.Of course NAS is home of the Blue Angels. When they are home you can see them practice for free. They go to California in the winter. Places to eat: Cubie Bar at the Museum, Golf course, near the school house there is a food court.
