Having come to Tucson regularly since 2006 I was surprised to just have discovered the Franklin Museum. My wife and guests and I were very impressed with both the Franklin Autos on display and the gentleman who gave us the guided tour. Don't let the rustic setting influence your decision to visit the museum. Once inside the first building you will be struck with the beauty of the restored Franklin automobiles. It has jumped to the top of our list to bring visitors to when they come to Tucson.

I'd never heard of Franklin cars, but went here with a tour arranged by the Arizona Historical Society off-shoot "Pathways." We came by bus, so didn't have to worry about finding this tucked-away spot. I'm not an old car buff, but enjoyed the visit anyway. My husband was enthralled. Be sure to begin the visit by viewing the video.

I don't get excited about restored cars, but this was well worth the visit! Definitely take the guided tour. The information shared is great history. A little off the main drag, a few blocks in, on a dirt road. There is a small sign near the ground that says 'Welcome' that we initially missed. GPS definitely helped. Not sure if they take credit cards or not; cash or check work via honor system.

A small, but excellent Museum tucked in a residential area that is a bit tricky to find. Well worth the time. Docent was just tremendous. Franklin was a little know car and the restorations are great. Well worth the visit and only $10/person ($8 for seniors)

We thought we were lost on dirt roads and then we saw the little sign for the entrance. There was nobody at the museum, it was just the honor system for payment. The cars are all in excellent condition and immaculately restored. I would have enjoyed learning the history about each car, but there was no information provided (ie who had owned it, where it was from, condition when acquired, etc). There were no runabouts. We actually saw a bobcat in the parking lot when we arrived and then a coyote when we drove out the exit. Crazy!

Took my boyfriend to the Franklin Museum as a surprise date! It would have been difficult to find if we hadn't put the address into the GPS. It is tucked away in a Ft. Lowell neighborhood, and is great for a small "getaway" for the day. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I don't know a lot about cars but enjoyed it just as much as my boyfriend did, who knows everything about cars! We were promptly greeted and started our tour as soon as we arrived. There were three different showrooms/garages to look through full of antique Franklins in pristine condition. The tour guide was very helpful, accommodating and welcoming. This is a great place to spend an afternoon!

This site is a nightmare to find, the satnav takes you to the road and then we found it was no entry. Eventually we did find it.The effort was worth it.Lovely display of cars. Not one of the cheaper entrance fees

This small car museum is tucked away in central Tucson. You need to call ahead for time and reservations but it is well worth the trip. In addition to classic Franklin automobiles, there are other antique cars and automotive memorabilia.
