CSU followed the success of the Savannah School of Art and moved its impressive music department to downtown Columbus, built a lovely performance center which has concerts, recitals, many nights of each week.

I have lived in Columbus for a while now but hadn't interacted much with CSU. I attended a meeting on campus early one evening and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities and the campus overall. There was a little construction going on but I considered it a good sign and the detour was easily navigated.Ever since, I have paid more attention to CSU in the news and I continue to have an upbeat view of this growing institute of higher learning.

Columbus State U is kind of still in the "new phase" of building better, building stronger as I like to call it. The campus is nice and constantly expanding. They have a section in downtown Columbus right next to the river which makes it really nice for study groups outside of the campus.

The school has nice facilities and appears to have a really good program for Forensics with good intern opportunities.

This campus has expanded drastically and offers state of the art technology and an education that puts its students on the leading edge of their fields. Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Computer science, and many other programs that lead the way. I love it here.

CSU is about 3 times as expensive as it should be. Forget HOPE Scholarship, the fees which are not covered by HOPE are as expensive as tuition. Over $1000.00 per semester. Half the professors are incompetent.

What a waste of money. One class taught you how to get around campus. They make you take it. Easy A. Art appreciation, P-L-E-A-S-E, what a joke, besides being a rip off. We evaluated, before midterm. I'd of given her an F. Could not control her class. She got behind and dumped weeks worth of work on us right before finals. I should have come out with an A, B+ at the least. C, I am an Artist and the rest were there for an easy elective. She should have gone back to her old job. More than likely she was fired, if not, they should. Math Instructor was great. Best part about being there. He spoke to the students, not at them. He'd work with you if you needed it. Primo individual. Really cared about us as a whole. Otherwise, the school is a joke. I have never been turned down when I apply for a school. I am guessing, save for the Music Majors, it the only school the others could get accepted to. Oh, less I forget the Baseball Team is stellar. Care for their own field, equipment and can make a ball see the heavens with a swat of their bat. Thanks for making it better, y'all rock.

Columbus State has come a long way over the past several years. The main campus is beautiful. Without knowing any better, you would think that most of the facilities were built within the last 10 years. A wonderful library and student union anchor the main campus, and renovated athletic fields add a touch of class. It's a nice, comfortable, intimate environment for students. As a parent, I would not have any problem if either my son or daughter elected to attend Columbus State and live on campus.
