Technically there is not much to this stone bridge that dates back to the ottoman times but if you are a history person, then surely you can visit the place for its history value. But I my opinion even that is not as alluring as it should be as this was just a bridge that used to see heavy traffic. The bridge seemed to be in need of restoration and right now with everything around it overshadowing the place. There is not much that highlights or helps its position.

A little stone bridge, that no longer seems to cross over anything. It seems a little out of place now, with major roads just around it. It did make a useful shortcut, however. It isn't specifically lit at night, but there is enough surrounding streetlight to cross safely without falling off.

This is a stone bridge from the Ottoman times (a rarity in Tirana). It was once the bridge to cross the stream that no longer runs here, but it does have historical significance so please don't dismiss it as "nothing to see, of no importance). It is slippery because the stones are so worn and with no hand rails/sides, please do use caution when crossing. Take a walk, cross the bridge, and enjoy it. Think about all the feet that have crossed this bridge over the centuries!

A rare ancient structure in Tirana. Coach tours of Tirana's few sights pass by here, blink and you will miss it. It was once part of an important trading route for farmers bringing livestock from farms in the east to the markets in town. It was built in the 18th C during the ottoman era in an area populated by butchers / leather workers. It sits just north of Bulevardi Zhan D'Ark and once spanned the Lana River, which has since been redirected further south.

Small random bridge surrounded by a modern concrete much larger one and by a restaurant. If for some reason its only a 5 minutes walk from your hotel, go and see it. Otherwise, no reason to go there.

on the edge of the centre and fairly well sign posted but not really any wow factor. Old ridge which people still walk on, in built up area by a road but hardly the Mostar bridge..

this little bridge looks great in the photos in brochures but the area right next to it is very run down and shows little respect for this beautiful little historic bridge

Took a bit of finding but is an amazing Ottoman stone bridge set in the midst of a bustling city. We walked along the river bank and were looking in the wrong direction.

The bridge it self is a bit off from the river, so if you are looking for the bridge along the river, you will miss it. It locate on the northern side of the river and there is nothing under it. I found it quite hard walking because of those polished stones. I think people might have fun just crossing it for free and getting to the big cafes and the library nearby. I found the cafe on the western side of the bridge has quite good sweets. If you walk all the way to the bridge by foot, I think these cafes are another destination you should put on your trip plan for a short break.
