Most interesting! A very well preserved old part and beautifull new one. Interesting is also the unique orgue with " half tones" the only one in Holland ! Also do ask about the secret room

The museum is amazing, situated in an authentic 18 cent.mansion, the collection of fossils and minerals is huge! The building has no artificial light so I suggest to come here on a sunny day in order to enjoy the collection items in full glory. If you are more interested in natural science don't forget to have a look at the impressive electrostatic generator and other scientific instruments from the 18th century. I would also recommend to take an audio guide because all the writings are in Dutch.

Although Teylers museum is small, it is worth a visit. It has a range of exhibits and often has special exhibitions. The building itself is also interesting.

The Teylers museum in Haarlem is an incredible collection of fossils, scientific equipment, coins, books, artifacts and more. Well worth a visit.

This is an eclectic collection of artefacts, ranging from fossils to coins, books and pictures. To be honest, I found it difficult to feel much enthusiasm for the endless rows of showcases. The picture galleries (two rooms) contained a large number of works by lesser known artists and, if you have the patience to do so, you can browse through folders containing facsimile prints by more famous names. Altogether, this museum is interesting as a curiosity, but that’s really as far as it goes.

My favorite museum, its old, easy to find, close to the main square of Haarlem, and his collection is wide, especially when you bring kids as a parent u can tell so much about it. And if youre interested into the historical nature envirement and antique science,you will have the visit of your life. Recomment ***** its top!

You feel transported back in time after entering the museum. Especially the exhibition about old scientific instruments is worth a visit. We enjoyed it a lot.

This is an eclectic collection of fossils, scientific instruments, coins and medals, art and other things in a most beautiful building with fabulous interiors.Make an effort to be interested for an hour or so, even if it isn't really your thing, and you wont be disappointed. I doubt if there is anolher one like it.

You truly believe you are set back in time while you entre and move on in this museum. The setting in this old building is stunning and the collection really is spectacular!

If you saw the movies (night at...) you feel walking on the set: skeletons and display cases in a setting you wish to have in your room. Apart from beautiful exhibitions Teylers offers a childrens program that will make you wanna be young again :-)
