Had a great visit today and had a personal tour around by one of the volunteers Jan which was not expected and gave a nice personal touch and shared his own experiences. Afterwards I asked if he could possible call me a taxi as was.going to visit the Airborne museum at Oosterbeek - he said no problem and I will drive you there myself! On route we made a couple of stops and showed me some Local landmarks of the battles and glider landings.The museum has a great collection of stuff

We have visited this many times over the years and seen it grow. It humbles me and is so well presented! It is excellent value for money and truly worth a visit

We visited Arnhem principally to visit the battlefield of Market Garden. However really found out all we needed from the excellent and not to be missed facility. Particularly the basement where aspects of the battle are re-enacted. The Hartenstein Museum and the visitor centre at the John Frost Bridge are situated where very serious fighting took place. An all together experience of the futility of war

very easy to find, excellent displays and very friendly staff! eager to tell you all the local history of where everything was found and/or dug up !excellent value for money - well worth a revisit !

We have visited the museum on 3 occasions and it is one of the best presented museums we have ever been to making you really understand how heroic the battle was and what it meant to all concerned extremely moving

This is a must for anyone visiting Arnhem; this and the war cemetery. It takes you through Operation Market Garden and gives you an idea as to what the soldiers and residents went through. My grandfather was a Para and took part in the operation, so for me is was very moving. There are lots of artifacts from the time that certainly gets you thinking.Well worth a visit at the start of your trip; you'll notice more when you go around Arnhem.

I loved this museum but it brings home the reality of suburban warfare. The stories of the locals suffering before, during and after the battle for Arnhem was harrowing.

What's not to like! Had an amazing weekend, Attending 70th Anniversay of Battle of Arnhem. Enjoyed learning the History.

Well laid out some interesting facts and information about the battle at Arnhem ,from the initial landing by towed gliders and paratroopers in and around the surrounding area
