The complex is enormous and the buildings are very beautiful and in good condition. Unfortunately it seems part of the outside of the main building was under maintenance, so they had the scaffolds outside the building covered with large sheets that had what the building actually looked like printed on them! The gardens were very impressive, although it was still a bit cold when we visited (in March) and therefore the long hour walking trail in the back of the gardens was closed. Maybe next time...Inside was very nice, but a bit dark in some places. Most of the workers were very friendly. There was lots of nice furniture and nice paintings and art to look at. The brochure that came with was very well designed. It was nice to learn more about the history of this famous palace and it's people.

The palace is the only royal residence open to the public in The Netherlands. Visiting the rooms is an unique experience as you get in touch with the way royals lived in this place. The gardens Are beautiful and the park surrounding the plane gives you lots of chancs to walk in the open air.

It was a lovely experience. I was impressed with the displays. Not much for young children! We ate at Balzal and it was delicious!

Wonderful palace with beautiful gardens. The only thing that I have to point which was not so good was the service of the restaurant: very slow and not so friendly.

We visited this attraction as a 'side trip' while on a Rhine cruise. We only spent half a day at the palace but could easily have spent a full day here. The exhibits in the house give a fascinating insight into the history of the Netherlands and the house of Orange and its place in that history. It was interesting to contextualise the interactions with UK history and to note the Dutch perspective on those interactions. Much of the personal life of the Royal Family is very honestly presented and shows a thread of sadness that seemed to accompany the role. The exhibition is well curated. It is clearly presented and easy to follow.Due to limitations of time and the excellence of the displays inside the palace we saw relatively little of the gardens, but what we did see would encourage us to return to see them.

I had heard about Het Loo since childhood, but was unprepared for its size and richness. An excellent brochure leads visitors through the rooms and through Dutch history.

Second time here....couldn't see it all the first time. And they now have the Grace Kelly exhibition. Wonderful. Gardens are impressive. Palace was stunning. Loved it.

This year i went with my colleagues to this beautiful park. Gardens are excellent. You can see the royal history. In spring or fall you may enjoy this museum. Do not forget see the Royal carriage museum.

It is a beautiful, very large palace with some wonderful rooms you can visit. The gardens are also not to be missed. Schedule a few hours to see evrything!
