Myself and 6 friends went for my 50th birthday. Most of us had never held a gun let alone shot one. Ann and Ross were very good instructors, I worked with Ann. Before starting I doubted that I would even hit one clay. With Anns' expert instruction and guidance I managed to hit a large majority of the clays.The location is beautiful and lends itself to some very shooting.Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely log wood burner and a hot cup of coffee. We were then fitted out with whatever clothing we required.Their attention safety and the all round good experience for the shooter was excellent. I shall be going back.

We had a trip to Warren Gill Shooting Ground on Saturday 13th December 2014, and our experience certainly exceeded our expectations. From the moment that we parked up the car we were greeted in a friendly way by Steve, our brilliant instructor for the afternoon, who offered us a warm drink and made us feel very welcome indeed! With neither of us having much experience shooting, we were very impressed with the way that Steve kitted us out and took us through the safety brief and basics of technique before leading us over to the first shooting range. Throughout the entire experience, Steve allowed us to develop our technique with his excellent advice and clear mastery of shooting, whilst ensuring that we had a lot of fun at the same time! We had 25 clays each, which was an ample amount to allow us to have a very good go at shooting. We left Warren Gill with only one thought on our mind - when will we be going back again?!Thoroughly recommended.

Nice location with a variety of shooting. Ann was an excellent trainer and was patient, friendly and enthusiastic. We had a great time.

This was a birthday gift for a friends 60th. We arrived to be greeted by Ross who offered us coffee. We declined as we had just had one so he commenced with the instruction on how to use the shotgun. I was very nervous about handling a gun as was our friend's wife. We were offered shooting gillets to wear over our coats to protect our shoulders along with caps and ear defenders. I was wary about this being a predominantly male sport but we were being followed by a hen party. Ross took us to the first shooting discipline and instructed us how to watch the shot and aim just infront of it. He ensured we held the gun correctly and safely instructing us all the time. We shot 6 cartridges at this section then moved to another spot where a different aspect was shown. Eventually we had simulated shooting pigeons, rabbits and driven pheasant . We had a thoroughly enjoyable morning and even the rain didn't dampen our spirits. We highly recommend this well thought out, well organised and SAFELY executed activity. Ross gave excellent tuition and helped me get over my fear of guns. We wish him all the best in his future Olympic skeet shooting in Brazil.

Usually you need to book so it was great both times you called in we had spare sessions. When you get home. - look for a shooting ground and have another go,
