I came here with my family and had a great time you should visit. The staff were helpful when they were needed and I had great fun

We came here a little off the cuff but I am glad we did! I had been a long time ago but improvements have been made. The trail itself is good fun, and presents some fairly easy obstacles along with more challenging ones. You are able to skip them if you feel uncomfortable. Be sure to wear boots with good grip!!! Trainers are okay, but boots definitely more practical. Some of the obstacles do look a bit rickety, but that is all part if the fun I guess. The smaller attractions near the entrance are good and plentiful. Various slides, spinning rides, climbing frames etc. We went as a 22 year old couple, and we enjoyed it. However, I feel that this attraction is as fun as you are prepared to make it. If you go in a group and are light hearted you will enjoy it. The only drawback for me is I feel £13 each is a little expensive. £10 would be a fair price as you could spend between 2-3 hours here comfortably. Very much enjoyed it, but take warm clothes and maybe a change of clothes for the car as you may well get muddy if you fall off the obstacles! Would visit again as part of a larger group.

Took 2 boys aged 5 and 7 who didn't stop playing, jumping, sliding, swinging, bouncing, climbing and all other manner of movement in the 6 and a half hours we were there. There are rides (not quite Alton Towers but equally as enjoyable), big slides, tunnels and The Crocky Trail. This is a circular walk round a field with bridges, swings and other attractions for kids to enjoy. My two had a great time. Well worth the money. My advice? Take a picnic, a change of clothes (for the journey back) and wellies.

Just be prepared to get very dirty and wet!! And don't expect health and safety to be enforced. Lots of hand made Rides to enjoy!

Had a great day out here with my 7&8 year old children. A good combination of fun and physical activity meant my kids didn't want to leave ! It is very basic/rustic but I think that adds to the charm of the place, it's certainly not too commercialised! Would definitely recommend for families with kids aged 5+

What a fab day we had today, I took my two children (girl 8 and son 12) it reminded me of the old Blabkpool funhouse which shut down years ago, my son said "I wish we lived closer I would be here all the time" there was loads for the kids to do whatever age, and the trail crossing the brook with rope swings, bouncy bridges, maze to name just a few kept the kids entertained whilst walking the trail, they couldn't edit to run to the next activity. Really is a brilliant plce but two words of advice wear wellies or walking boots and old Scruffs as you will just want to dump the clothes after they get out of there. But that's part of the fun. Enjoy!

Fine for older kids. But dangerous. Not just the activities but even walking to them. My 3 year old tripped over a rubber pad that wasn't flat to the ground and headbutted a metal digger. Rubble separated the apparatus with flagging sticking up. a very interesting tree house that was serounded by high uneven flagging next to a ditch. I see the idea of 1930's fun, but it's very much like playing on a building site.

I was dubious about going here on my own with 4 children age 12 X2 a 9 yr old and a 7 year old in half term. I was worried as I am protective as most parents are but some may say I worry too much but there were some reviews that said crocky trail was dangerous and not very good. I thought I'd give it a go well so glad I did my children had a fantastic day and so did I. This is what you make of it there are risks but if you supervise and organised correctly it's fine, I explained to the kids to be aware of their limits and others. I would say this trail and attractions is most suitable for 6 years and up I would not have enjoyed this with very young children as they need to be physically able to enjoy it. My kids said it's one of the best days out they have ever had. Also the staff were patient and friendly we will be visiting again.

2nd time at crocky trails and didn't disappoint. Took my son and nephew (aged 4 and 9) and they had the most fun, ran around all day! Now, I don't think health and safety is high on the list here so if you are an anxious parent I dont recommend it but it is the most fun I think boys can have! Mud, rides, slopes, slides, stream, bridges, tunnels...the list of fun obstacles and adventures goes on and on! Price is a little high but on par with other attractions and it is free for under 5's! There is a drinks stand but improvements could be made on the refreshments available here but we have taken picnics both time and this time they have built new 'tree house' type picnic/viewing areas! All in all a fab muddy day! Will go back in summer!
