This is a colourful fast moving show. Expert cast, very talented and always fun. Visited many years and always changes. Good family entertainment from the over eights upward, and the surrounding Christmas shops are magical.Very well organised from the car parking to the mulled wine and mince pies.

Do make the effort to go Thursford as you really will not fail to be delighted by the experience be it during the Summer period or for the wonderful Christmas Extravaganza. I have been for some years now and the shotw just gets better and better and the spectacle starts after parking one's vehicle - a wonderful walk to the venue through magical lighting and music.Just delightful!

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed the show and am sorry our seating was not to your high standards. The seating is however well within industry guide lines. We know it is by no means perfect and this is something we would like to rectify.As management we are looking at ways to improve the quality of our seating and can assure you are in the process of putting in place long term plans to up grade our seats. Best wishes from all of us at Thursford.First time I have been to the Thursford show and was not sure what to expect. A marquee just inside the entrance provided snacks and drinks. A couple of small shops - don't bank on getting Christmas shopping here but you might find the odd novelty gift.A friendly man was greeting and indicating the way to the main barn where the show takes place. Very over the top decorations hanging from the ceiling looked a bit over done. Seating was cramped and seats were very hard. It was also very hot and I nodded off a couple of times. It was a bit like Sunday Night at the London Paladium. A comic, dancing girls, an acrobat and singers - a bit of everything. Show put together very professionally, just right for a pre Christmas show. As you come out trees are alight with colour which makes you feel in the Christmas mood. Would I go again?, no I would rather see a west end show but if you love Christmas it would be just right for you.

Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry to hear the 2014 Thursford Christmas Spectacular was not to your liking. Over the past five years our production team has worked tirelessly on making the show appeal to a wider audience of all ages and from research we have carried out on the demographic of our audience it is clear the show has seen a big increase in the 20-40 age range and the feedback we have received from them has been positive with many of them stating they had come with the impression the show was for older patrons but where pleasantly surprised by the variety the show has to offer and would defiantly attend again.Best Wishes from all of us at Thursford.
