Visited here a couple of weeks before King Richards reinterment with preparations underway. Very good visitors centre with lots of information on life at the time of the battle. There was a school group there and they seemed to be having great fun. Me and my husband took one of the walks, up to the battlefield, down to the station and on to the canal. We walked for a while along the canal to a road bridge which took us past a very popular cafe, we then headed back through a wooded area and back to the visitors centre where we had a nice afternoon tea. We were lucky that the weather was lovely but it was a bit muddy underfoot in places, we had a great time and didn't end up having a battle ourselves - he's from yorkshire and I'm from Lancashire! I've added there was a fee, but that was only for the car park.

I visited here for the mother's day special and had a wonderful experience. Really good food and plenty of it in the Tithe Barn restaurant served by friendly staff. Followed by a most interesting tour of the exhibition. Well presented for all ages. A really good day out. Thank you.

With king richards reinterment only days away now , my mum, girlfriend and myself visited bosworth battle field and centre to pay our respects. From start to finish the centre has vast amounts of information on the life at the time, information about both king richard and henrys side of events and the battle itself. You can even choose a side at the end by placing a plastic coin into the relevant box. After the centre take a walk up the hill to the flags where you can overlook where the battle took place. There are also many other walks to take,so bring your walking boots. With a fantastic gift shop and restaurant aswell as amazing staff ,you will be in for a day to remember. Thankyou to everyone .

Other plans having gone awry, decided to visit on a whim. The visitor's centre is very well laid out and is actually very non-biased, though based on the vote at the end, the visitors may not be. There is a lot of information about the context of the battle, the archealogical research and medieval warfare. Loved finding out how far I could fire an arrow. Having the two standards dominate the memorial is interesting, will have to return on a warmer day to truly appreciate the battlefield tour. The one downside is the cost of parking, maybe you could get a reduction if you visit the visitor's centre

The guided tour is a must. The site is basically fields but the staff and exhibitions bring it all to life in an educational but fun way. Better than any history lesson I've had

On arrival in the parking area, the pay machine was not working and it was necessary to walk into the ticket office to pay. The exhibition is very interesting and informative and well done with several interactive displays. This is such an historic place and well-worth a visit. We had a good light lunch in the Tithe Barn which is very nicely decorated.

Great visit, did one of the guided walks, was worth every single penny. Our guide Pat, was so informative, and so nice, she really added to the enjoyment of the day.The visitor centre was very well put together, with something to interest every age group.

With the recent discovery of the skeleton of Richard III there will be renewed interest in this attraction and there is a very atmospheric visitor centre to satisfy your craving for more information about the Battle and all the machinations surrounding it. You do not have to be a history buff to appreciate the visit, but I would say that the Under 5's would probably prefer to play in the park. Which you can do, of course. If you like eating al fresco, you could enjoy a nice picnic on a fine day. All in all, well worth a family outing.

Easy to find. Easy and different places to park. Great for people with children and dogs. Different pathways clearly marked with points of historical interest available. Help and maps available on site or in several local libraries with clear information about entrance fees and opening times. The web site was also helpful in preparing to go for the first time. Cafe facilities available and museum. Special events include jousting and falconry. Friendly and approachable staff willing to give information about such events.

The Centre tells the story of Richard III and the Wars of the Roses in a fascinating, easy-to-understand manner. The storyboards, videos, and replicas make the history fun for all ages. There's a reasonably priced cafe with tasty food too. A wonderful place to visit for young or old
