We like the fact that you can take a lovely walk up to it, or you can drive up there (plenty of parking). Small distillery with seriously knowledgeable staff. Super place to be taken around; they even provide a dram of whisky if you are the right age group! If you want a special present buy one of the excellent whiskies matured in a champagne cask. One of those is our present to ourselves for Christmas. Wonderful

We have visited Edradour Distillery two times. The first time was with a group of friends when were we staying in nearby Pitlochry and second time when we stayed in Moulin. The hike wasn't two far but there is a good car park for anyone unable, or prefers not to walk. The Distillery is very interesting and the guides well informed and passionate. We purchased a couple of bottles, which we had enjoyed at the tasting, plus a jar of the Edradour honey, which was lovely. It’s well worth a visit.

We hiked to this distillery from the Craighmor Lodge, taking in the beautiful scenery and waterfall along the way. You are greeted by a kilted guide who gave us a wonderful tour of this smallest distillery in Scotland. Great tasting room and gift shop. Of course we purchased a wee dram or two!

Nestled in a pocket Glen, in the Hills above Pitlochry in the southern Highland, lies Edradour Scotland´s smallest distillery and its most picturesque. Distillery to produce a handcrafted malt in limited quantity (5,500 litres), unique quality and by traditional methods, which to other distillers are just a fond memory. Soft spring water, originating from deep on Moulin Moor bubbles through peat and sandstone. The tours end in the tasting bar and shop.Opening January - December Monday - Saturday 9.30 am (10am) - 4 pm (5pm) Sunday 12 noon - 4 pm (5 pm) - in January and February closedwww.edradour.co.uk

This distillery visit was part of our holiday package and we found it so interesting, being the smallest distillery in Scotland. The tour was extremely interesting and we definitely came away with more knowledge than we knew, the guide was very knowledgeable. There is a shop which is definitely worth a visit too.

Edradour Distillery is the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland. Located in the heart of Pitlochry, Perthshire by a small stream, this unique distillery dates back to 1825 and continues their tradition of small scale handmade single malt whisky from a farm distillery. We joined one of the distillery’s information packed 1 hour guided tour (cost £7-50 per person). The tour starts with a drams each of Edradour Single Malt & Eradour Cream Liqueur in the old Malt Barn and the whisky glass can be taken away as souvenir. Thereafter, we were guided around the working Distillery to see the traditional methods of whisky making and maturation.. We learned that raw ingredients for making whisky are only barley, yeast & water. We simply love the whisky aroma in the air. We ended the tour with a visit to the well-stocked Distillery Shop where we purchased some whisky & souvenir for remembrance.A word of advise, book in advance as tours are popular and are usually full. Glad our family decided to include a visit to this unique Edradour Distillery. We brought back with us fond memories of Edradour especially their exquisite taste. Don't forget your camera as photography without flash (flash is a fire hazard due to high concentration of alcohol vapour in the air) is allowed in the distillery. One of the must-see places in Perthshire especially if you are a whisky lover.

My husband and I toured this distillery on our vacation in Scotland. We particularly love Pitlochry, and the scenic walk to the distillery is simply magical! You walk through woods, over small wooden bridges with creeks to end up at this beautiful boutique distillery that is just as picturesque. Our guide John was very spot on with his dry humor and had tons of information to offer us. He was very conversational and discussed my husband's study of rhetoric and even convinced my husband to try a 30 year old scotch at the tasting room. The experience and the whisky was fantastic. I would highly recommend!
