My fave things in the Museum are:- the lovely staff, who are very helpful- the diorama (look out for the cheeky bottom!)- the local natural history exhibit (I do like a well stuffed bit of taxidermy)The temporary exhibitions are away really interesting, and the windows outside are worth a peek too!

Contrary to many other reviews, we found this place to be rather dull and boring. There were just a few signs round the walls and a couple of old bits and pieces upstairs, along with a display of taxidermy. We will not be rushing back.

This is a great little museum which gives lots of very interesting information on old Kirrie. It's a must do place to visit.

I have been round it a few times and it's well worth it. The first time I went with son when he was small and we were in there for about 3 hours and it's quite a small museum but there is so much to see. They have new and exciting things there all the time to go and see. It's not a place you go once and that's it, you can keep going time and time again as they keep getting different things in to view

Very interesting, highly informative museum - small but perfectly formed! Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable assistants on hand to answer all questions about Kirriemuir and the nearby Angus Glens.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Friendly, relaxed, not crowded, and a range of interesting things to look at. Liked the Bon Scott small exhibition - hope they can raise enough money for a stutue of him in the town.

Wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Set in a lovely old, small building there is lots to see and plenty of interest. High focus on J M Barrie and lots on former industry and ways of life. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Only moan would be dated, clumsy and clunky touchscreen system!

Liked the variety of items. It was a wee find which we didn't plan on visiting. Only popped in because it was raining! Glad we did. Staff friendly and knowledgable.
