Informative and well worth the visit. Kids loved it. Was very busy when we were there. Good tourist attraction.

We made the short trip down to the Navan centre this week and must admit it was very enjoyable and definitely worth while. The cost of entry for the museum and living history was very reasonable at £6.50 and both provided you with a greater understanding of the history of that period. The living history was particular good. The short 20min history movies was also very good giving you more info on King Conor Mac Nessa and Setanta. Access to the actual buried fort is free of charge and is a nice walk up through the Eco garden. We would definitely recommend the Navan centre.

The interpretive portion of the visit is fantastic. The climb to the top of the mound is well worth the exertion given the beautiful panoramic view from the top.

When visiting Ireland you must emerge yourself in the history of the island. This site is a must see. Learn about the beginning of Ulster, and the brutality of the time. After your tour you can see the gift shop and have a snack in the cafe.

Especially for those on the trail of St. Patrick. The St. Patrick's flavor is especially evident in the associated Centre for Celtic Spirituality.
