海之所以纳百川而成其大，赫尔辛基的８月，有点微凉，所以艳阳之下的海港，十分令人舒畅．看到这里有各色的摊位，卖著芬兰美食及小礼物，但却不脏乱．港口的船舶色彩缤纷，让海鸥们不停的来回飞翔，这就是北欧的海港．在这里可以看见乌斯佩斯基大教堂，赫尔辛基大教堂以及总理行政办公室；更可爱的是在行政办公室的前方不远，有个尿尿人的雕像，吸引了每一个游客驻足观赏．如果来赫尔辛基，一定要逛到这个港口来，体验北欧的舒畅

大街很宽，人不多，也许是冬天的缘故。步行道上为了防滑，在路面上铺了很多小石子。防滑是防滑了，但是对于拖着行李箱走的我们来说，是有些费劲的，特别是春节期间，芬兰的雪已经开始化，有些泥泥水水的意思。商店的橱窗都精心设计过的，从外面看起来赏心悦目，价格呢，绝对不便宜。

这条中央为公园绿地（我们春节去时是白色雪地哈）、两侧为高级品牌店的中央大街让我想起了北海道的札幌，札幌的中央大街也是这样的规划。相比札幌在中央公园设置灯光秀，芬兰的Esplanade Park的公园部分更多的是绿地、雕塑，纪念碑。深有欧洲的气息。

这是赫尔辛基的购物地区，有南北两条街道，街道中间的部分开辟成为公园，北边的一条路上有ittala,marimekko,pentik等著名品牌的店铺，很适合逛街购物。

这是横贯东西方向的两条Esplanade大街之间的公园，摆着几个芬兰名人的塑像，最东边有《波罗的海的女儿》像，晚上公园有小规模的灯光装饰。

This why we love Scandinavia. The promenade by the ocean with cafes restaurants and boats. It's just beautiful. There are markets shoppes and loads of benches to take it all in from. I have Ben here both in summer and in winter and I'm not sure which I prefer more. Any season it's just a lovely place to visit.

Esplanade is a beautiful area right by the ocean. You can stroll over the little market where you can get finnish souveniers, handmade items like hats and jewelry as well as snacks and typical finnish foods. I spend some time there with my husband before we took the ferry to suomenlinna, which leaves from the terminal right there. There are little coffee shops and restaurants on boats that offer a variety of foods. Close by is a ferrieswheel which gives you a very nice view of the surrounding area. Other placew of interest are also close by.if you go during winter time, be sure to dress warm enough, as the wind by the waterfront is especially icy

We walked down here on the way to the markets, which turned out not to be there.This is a street with lots of shops along it, and a narrow long park type area that runs down the centre.It was the only place that was covered in snow still when we visited, as the rest of the streets and roads had totally been cleared of all the snow.There is also a tourist office here.

A pleasant place to walk, particularly at night when it is very prettily lit with fairy lights. We didn't eat or drink anywhere but all the places looked expensive.
