In the centre of small town Outokumpu is Mine museum located. The museum is old mine, and it was very important part of peoples daily life at the area even till 80's. People lived at area, near mine and for exemple they went to sauna at area saturdays with their families.You can see the old tower from long distance and when you climb up the hill, you can see Vuonos, other mine not so far away.The museum is memorial site for those who worked there. It is very important part of Finnish and Karelian history.There is also a stone park, where you can see what kind of stone mine produced. Some stones you can see at the mine,in shop and buy for a souvenier.Information and web site do not give right image of the place; so it's better visit it youself.

Побывали в удивительном музее, который расположен в старой шахте, кормившей десятилетия городок Оутокумпу. В музее можно не только посмотреть экспонаты, но и прогуляться по подземным коридорам, увидеть процесс совершенствования добычи руды от обыкновенной кирки до современных машин и механизмов. Музей будет интересен и взрослым, и детям, есть русскоговорящий гид. Кстати, во дворе музея для детишек сделан целый городок развлечений в стиле шахты. Будете проезжать мимо в сторону Куопио, не поленитесь, заверните. Уверена, время не будет потрачено зря.

Se trata de las instalaciones de una antigua mina activa hasta hace unas décadas. La explotación fue enorme y se recorre una parte de ella. El recorrido se hace a pie, no es necesario un guía y se puede recorrer libremente, lo que es un detalle.Uno de los atractivos es montar en un viejo tren (igual que en otras atracciones mineras): aunque en el recorrido no se ve gran cosa te permite moverte de un extremo a otro de la mina y siempre es entretenido el traqueteo.Hay un pequeño museo bien montado, pero lo más interesante es andar por las rampas que han creado para ir moviéndote entre los diferentes edificios.Me pareció increíble que permitiesen moverte por tu cuenta en el interior de una galería superficial junto a la maquinaria que se empleaba en la explotación.El recorrido se inicia y termina en un gran local, pero con pocos objetos de interés, restos de minerales, baratijas y poco más, manifiestamente mejorable.Tuve alguna dificultad para hacerme entender en inglés (el nivel de los finlandeses no es muy bueno).
