One of the best winery from Buzau County. If you visit Lacerta once you will come for the second time for sure.

A planned visit to LacertA winery makes for a great few hours in the Romanian main wine district. The staff is very welcoming and provide a nice tour of the wine making process and then a cheese and wine tasting where you buy a tasting of 3 or 5 wines. Our tour guide gave us good information, answered our questions, and provided a leisurely tasting which lasted a good hour for our party of eight. They then offer wines for sale at great winery prices. They have shirts and glasses and other promotional items for sale too. Call ahead and schedule your tour and in the area there are many other wineries to visit so you can make a full day of winery hopping.

Man should not miss this one afternoon atraction, half way between Ploiesti and Buzau. Top wines, nice and welcoming staff. A great experience! Coming back soon! Ssst! ;)

The team at Lacerta Winery ensured we had the most fun on a tour of a winery than we've ever had.The location is amazing and the views across the fields are simply stunning. The tour was not rushed and they took time to explain everything in great detail which meant I learnt so much, so quickly.We tried a number of great wines (Cuvee IX was fantastic) and spent the afternoon just chatting to the team and generally just having a really good time.We bought a number of wines from them and hopefully we will return again one day.Must see.

A perfect atmosphere for wine tasting , nice landscapes on the countryside and friendly people . A good fit for me was Cabernet Sauvignion - Shiraz , a perfect coupaje. Good job , well done :)

I find it amazing how a new winery can have such a good wine as Cuvee IX, the flagship of Lacerta whose first year (09) can compete easily with many good tuscan ones with long tradition. and this is not the only great wine but better to go and try by yourself. once arrived there, you feel that the whole team involved has put tremendous effort and passion into delighting their customers, paying attention to all details. Walter and Larisa know how to make guests feel wonderful and deserve consideration!

Durch meinen rumänischen Freund Mihail wurde ich auf das Weingut Lacerta zur Excursion und Weinverkostung eingeladen. Die gute und informative Führung durch alle Produktionsbereiche, natürlich vom Kellermeister persönlich, zeigt das hohe Produktionsniveau. Freundliche Damen und Herren bei der anschließenden Verkostung machen es zum Vergnügen die Weine von Lacerta kennenzulernen. Die schöne Landschaft und Architektur sind ein highlight in dieser Region. Und wie gesagt top Weine die sich dem internationalen Vergleich mit Erfolg anschließen. Werde sicher noch einmal die Winery besuchen.
