This is a wonderful must visit place & from the short ferry ride across to the sea museam to the beautful landmarks & natural beauty of this location.I was however very dissipointed on my last visit & the prices have been greatly increased & half of the museam is still been renovated & the visiting public were not informed..I think It will be nice when they eventually complete these renovation works.I would enquire about its complation & facilities before visiting.

Good Dolphine show. Not soo much to see in the sea museum, but a good half day event. Good idea to combine with drip to beach.

We visited dolphinarium! The show was fantastic! We liked it so much! But we thought that the ticket for Dolphinarium valid to the See Museum too, but not.We went there with ferry what was really good and there are ferries what go to the entrance directly! When you go with ferry go in time becasue you need time to buy the tickets. After we walked back but it was a little long way but from here you can reach the sea easily what was beautiful, not crowded and very clean.

I love it there, it was very clean, the lights and facilities was modern and not the tipical flash light to your eyes :)I recommend also because the area and the Curia National Park outside, its amazing place to explore and enjoy nature :) The Baltic sea its very close and also the port, its one of the biggest in Europe. You can havean amazing time there.Fabuloso museu, pequeno, seguro, os animais são bem tratados e tem acesso fácil :)No inverno faz muito frio lá e o museu está fechado mas teem muito que ver e fazer se são amantes dda vida selvagem e da Natureza :)

Freshly renovated dolphinarium is opened!Very good equipment (sound, light and video) installed. Now video projection on the wall and light/sound effects improves show very much.Only complaint is that show was completely in Lithuanian language! I hardly understand why there are no information doubled in English?!?!?! I believe this is meant to be a show and supplementary information for tourists from all over the world, not just Lithuanian people? It is sad I've missed a lot of interesting info about dolphins :(

Sea Museum is located in an ancient fortress - a place definitely not to miss! You will have a chance to explore the hispory of sea life, view seal and sea lions' show, have a walk in the dungeons and take part in interactive touchscreen quizes to test you knowledge of sea biology. Plenty of opportunities to watch aquatics in their natural habitat - including circular aquarium with live fish (some of them are really huge!!), seals and sea lions, penguins, corals and jelly fish. Interactive displays offer interesting facts and amusement for both children and adults. I visit Klaipeda almost every year - and every year come back to this museum!

Quite educational. Lifelike environments of the seacreatures. Beautiful fishtanks and things to see. Sea lions show was also memorable. http://www.muziejus.lt/

Let's face it: there aren't many things to visit in Klaipeda and when your ship stops there for a few hours your options are limited.I took my kids, ages 10 and 12 to the sea museum. They like the sea lions shows, we learned the different ways to make a ship (really fascinating) and watched the fish in the aquariums. Nice way to spend a few hours. We took the ferry to get there and were watching families enjoying their Sunday.

Even though I've been there for many times I always find something new. You can dream away and imagine so much more than they have to show and to tell you. The place-fortres facilitates development of interest in historical events. You sort of become a part of this museum and may literally feel how it was like there during these long gone centuries..
