Well worth the train trip and walk to view this lovely garden at the top of the Mountain. It cost 25 Swiss francs each for the COG railway trip up the mountain and free to visit the garden. Remember to use the Montreux Riviera pass to get you discount. There is a lovely Restaurant at the top, with magnificent views.

We visited this garden on Aug 29th. We had read that there are 3500 different species here. We did see quite a lot of lovely flowers and plants and all are labelled meticulously. We enjoyed the sight of the famous eidelweiss... with a nostalgic smile remembering the song from Sound of Music...totally worth the short scramble up the hill

Unlike most of the people on our train we did visit the garden and enjoyed what we saw. Clearly September is not the best month for flowers but we were not disappointed at having made the (small) effort to walk up to the garden

Just 5 minutes relatively level walk from the top station at Rochers de Naye is the Alpine garden. Lovely and peaceful, with great views, and a fantastic array of alpine plants. Detailed guides available if you want more info then just a stroll around.

В этом замечательно саду.который находится в горах есть больше трех тысяч различных цветов и растений и конечно же,знаменитый эдельвейс.В любое время года здесь очень красиво!

Fomos de carro, estacionamento grátis. Vimos uma enorme variedade de flores e plantas alpinas. Recomendo para quem vai ficar mais de 1 dia na cidade.

Von der Bahnstation ist der Weg ausgeschildert und ich würde den Weg nicht mit Sandalen gehen wollen, obwohl einige das tun.Die Vegetationszeit in diesem Garten ist sehr kurz: 4-4,5 Monate und die Erde ist sehr karg. Es gibt ca.1000 verschiedene Pflanzen aus Berggebieten in der ganzen Welt.Frühlingsflora gibt es anfangs Juli, die Hauptblütezeit ist von Mitte Juli bis Ende August, was bedeutet, dass unser Besuch im September etwas spät erfolgte. Trotzdem gab es noch einiges zu sehen, allerdings muss man sich schon etwas bemühen, da wegen der kargen Erde die Blüten sehr klein und unscheinbar sein können.Der Garten ist von Juni bis Mitte Oktober von 9.00 - 17.00 Uhr geöffnet. Wenn man Glück hat, ist eine fachkundige Person da, die einen auf Besonderheiten aufmerksam macht. Man braucht für das Ganze ca. 30-45 Minuten
