Great place to walk through beautiful woodland and by the sea, with wonderful views from the top of the hill.

Skåne has many excellent Nature Reserves and Stenshuvud is nicely located by the sea. We took a walk up to the hilltop with great (photographic) views and enjoyed a picnic here. Then back the same way for time on the nice white beach that normally are not crowded. Good service at the service center, photographic views and a beautiful beech forest with sunny leaves offer a nice afternoon for the whole family.

Went with a friend for a day trip and decided to go for a walk as we passed by. Happy we did as it was just wonderful. The day was fairly quiet with plenty of parking and it was perfect for a walk.We went up to the top to one of the view points, took perhaps 15-20 minutes and wasn't really a hard walk even though it was a bit steep at times. I would say bring non slip shoes as the rocks can get quite slippery at times, especially during autumn when the leaves are wet. I would also like to add that if you aren't used to walking I would not recommend the view spot but a walk down towards the beach instead. There are plenty to choose from. A lovely way to spend a day.

Not much to say to be honest! Wonderfull green forest and perfect beach. Its amazing how the area has avoided becoming a typical luxury beach house location.

We went on the purple walk in the morning, then walked up to the nearby cafe for lunch before going on the main walk to the triple summit/viewpoint. Get a walks leaflet from the information centre. We didn't go swimming at the beach, but would have done if we'd taken our swimming stuff in our packs!

This nature reserve offers nice walks, nice views of the coast or the inland green and a nice beach (but beware, there can be strong currents).

This is a very nice national park to take walks in. We have walked the yellow path, about 4 km. The first 2 km is filled with rocks and quite hard going in any tempo. It´s also narrow. But the view is stunning. The last 2 km is in the forest and is easier to walk. There is a large parking lot, toilets and a cafe where the walks starts from.

We loved the beach, and enjoyed a couple of picnics there. The flies were a bit of a nuisance, but a lovely place to walk and explore

Beautiful clam sentence forests, fantastic views over the beaches and bays from several vantage points including the remnants of an old medieval fortress.

Beautiful beaches and forests. Well kept walking/hiking trails. The visitors center is interesting. Easy parking, but busy in summer. Another option to Stenshuvud would be Knabackhusen, a few kilometers south in Rorum. That may not be as busy when Stenshuvud is full. Worth a short stop or a day at the beach.
