This is a nature reserve with many access points. First you can visit the lighthouse area. The cliff is 47 m above sea level but the actual lighthouse is not so impressing, just adding another 3 m. The 360 degree view is far better. Birding is great in spring here as many migrating birds are passing.Then you could stop for a walk to Sillhällorna(1.2 km), via the well marked track and for northern Sweden quite unusual cliffs and boulders. It was here people used to dry their fish 500 years ago and gave it the name which means the Herring rocks. Finally the southernmost part Grundskatan. Here you could look for migrating birds or go for a swim or walk along the coast towards Sillhällorna. In the area there is also the bigger beach Storsand. Perfect for small children as it is shallow and with soft sand dunes.In between these areas there are lots of Forests, rocks and many other beaches. Birdwatching is good all over the place and can sometimes yield really rare species to your list.During summer there is a small cafe next to the lighthouse and there is also possible to stay in the small hotelrooms in the lighthouse!
