My boyfriend and I went for a trek yesterday. It was his first time on a horse and despite my initial worries the trek went very very well. We both got amazing horses (Con & Angel, you rock!) and had the time of our lives. The weather was stunning, the views breathtaking and the whole 1.5 hr was spent smiling under the supervision of experienced instructors. We already have re-booked to go again. Neigh neigh.

Myself and my Girlfriend were here only last week, despite the weather not being great we had a amazing time! Roger was so friendly and more than welcoming and showed us all the ropes with Angel and Elaine. He kept us entertained for the full 90mins showing us all the amazing views, and told us about all the local surroundings of the Connemara Mountains. I would definitely recommend Knockillaree Riding Centre to all of my friends. We'll 100% be back again! Roger also recoomended a beautiful Bar for food close by, The Boat Inn, fantastic food!

We booked kinckillaree riding centre for a horse riding trek today - it was a great way to spend a few hours on our trip to Glaway! Neither of us are greatly experienced with horses, but roger had a suitable horse for both of us an guided us well for our trek. He was very friendly & informative & you can tell that he loves the horses. We have no hesitation in recommending the centre & would place it very high on the list of things to do in Glaway. Would love to return for a summer trek for sure!Very enjoyable.

My daughter had specifically tasked me with finding a jumping lesson! Rogers vast experience provided her with excellent tuition which was both informative and confidence building, on a great pony. Everyone was so friendly and the horses were lovely. We all learnt alot and had a really enjoyable morning to which we have to thank Knockillaree.

Our day out with guide Roger and my horse Patch and my friends horse Pride was full of laughter and total enjoyment. Roger and his team were so kind to us, we learned a lot and Rogers vast experience was intriguing. He was a great confidence builder. I recommend this day out as a must do, thanks to all. Knockillaree Riding Centre is beautifully situated in the Connemara area, a short drive from Galway City. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit there. The location has breathtaking views of the mountains and rugged terrain. The more time you spend there, the more you appreciate how the light transforms the landscape with each passing hour of the day. Roger was a charming host. His passion for what he does shows in his deep knowledge and gentle way with the horses and ponies. A pony trek at Knockillaree is the perfect way to intimately experience this most gorgeous part of Ireland!

It was raw, pure, horse riding at it's best. Whether you're a complete novice or competent rider, you'll be in safe hands. Roger and his crew are knowledgeable, intuitive and respectful of both horse and rider. Laced with Irish humour, this is a recipe destined to please. Enjoy your ride, we did

We opted for a 1 hour trek as my bf had never ridden before. Roger was patient and provided good instruction to him. The horses were lovely and suitable for our levels of experience. The view of Lough Corrib at the peak was beautiful and Roger provided lots of info and history of local area aswell!

We went there with a group of friends and had a blast. To this day, people from the group who had never even ridden a horse still tell me this is their best memory of Ireland.Being an experienced rider myself, I enjoyed it enormously feeling from the start that the horses were safe and nicely bred.MANY THANKS !
