Worth the walk but limited to see inside the grounds unless paying entrance fees extra. Find the fire breathing dragon

Beautiful Cathedral. Purchase the audio tour which is very informative. Follow your small map around the cathedral and soak up the history. You will see tombs belonging to former King's and Queens's of Poland along with the relics of Pope John Paul in his own chapel. Great tour.

One of the most well maintained cathedrals I have seen so far which is package full of charm and history. Worth going up to the bell tower and reading the information about the cathedral/ castle which my camera failed to do justice. Also worth a mention it the fire breathing iron dragon statue behind it on the river path which was a nice surprise

Spent a good couple of hours walking around the cathedral with my Mum and Auntie. We paid a little more for the access to go up into the bell tower to see the views over Kraków, and also go down into the tombs. Lots of plaques to stop and read, and lots of decorative and beautiful features to admire while walking around. Would recommend!

You could walk around the Cathedral for free or if you had more time then you can pay for a more detailed visit. As we only had an hour or 2 spare we just wondered through - reading the history of the kings and queens who have inhabited Wawel since the 1300's

Definitely worth a visit. Castle is huge and the cathedral is spectacular. Interesting historical summaries around the tombs for your informations.

Such a place of beauty... Was absolutely mobbed and luckily we got there at 15:45... It shuts at 16:00 but they let us run around and see everywhere before we left which was really nice of the staff, thanks :)
