It is such a quiet place. I enjoy walking there. Everything is well-organised and it is unlike any other cemetary I`ve been to.

The cemeteries where you can drive (40 PLN per entry) are very rare - and in Poland this is probaobaly the only one. A charming and large walking area with a lot of trees, birds, and , as they say, wild animals.

Before visiting it with a bunch of candels on the first of November, I did read about it that it is the second largest cemetery in Europe. At that moment I thought it is just a joke. But it is not. That place it huuuuge. With small grave-neighbourhoods, maps, fountains, alleys, information about important historical moment and people who are burried there. And since it is was 1st of November I could say everyone was there armed with flowers and candles. In the evening it was like an ocean of candles.During the warm spring days I plan to re-visit. It is nothing scary about that place it is more like a quiet and well organized park/forest to walk around.

I visited in October and I must say it was something magical about that place. Leaves falling from trees, fresh air and quiet, peaceful surroundings. It is huge place so it is easy to be lost. I was a bit afraid of that so I went to purchase a map from office it cost me only 4zl which is 1 euro and it is a life saver, trust me it helped me a lot. You have it all marked on the map, so you can't be lost, very easy to follow.

I was born in Szczecin and this is the place you can't miss. IT IS HUUGE , 8th biggest cemetery in Europe? It's very calming , beautiful each season : our beautiful blooming springs , hot sunny summers , golden wet autumns or white fluffy winters.. Unfortunately last few years it's also had an emotional add to it .. It's great place for a walk but you can easily get lost!!

This cemetery is a kind of oasis of calm. It size make it the biggest park in Szczecin. Historical graves there reminds about famous Szcecin's citizens from old time. This is one of the most favourite places for walking and looking for a silence. Lot of people rune there, but not sure is it good idea. Necropolis is so big, that normaly during the funeral ceremonies everyone use cars and buses.

Why visit a Cemetery? The Central Cemetery in Szczecin is a "must visit" place because of its beauty, its size, the incredible graveyards with millions of flowers all over.We were there at "Halloween-time" so the flowers were even more than ever everywhere. It is a peaceful place with many different areas. A stroll around in this place is an experience you will not forget. And then it must be one of the biggest graveyards in Europe or even the world. Fantastic!

I visited for the first time on All-Saints Day - I was amazed. What a lesson in history and culture and interactions between people. It was a lovely walk through town to get here, but just follow the mass of everyone else headed here. Amazing place!
