This is a small museum and the main reason for the stop here was to see their Egyptian antiquities and to tour the reconstructed tombs of Nefertari and Sennefer. I saw it, but I would not go back. Seriously, the reconstructed tombs are pretty lame. The artificial lighting and tile floors take away from the presentation, along with the modern stairwells.I was in Sennefer’s tomb and I did not even bother to take a photo of this reconstruction. They have some art here and a few other items. It is worth a stop if you are in town for a day and are looking for something to do, but don’t plan a trip to Le Mans just for this museum. Would I visit again? No.

A voir la partie en sous sol. Des tombes égyptiennes comme si on y était. C est assez bluffant pour les enfants. Moment sympa à passer. Je crois que le musée est gratuit le dimanche.

Хороший археологический отдел: Древний Египет, Древняя Греция и Древний Рим. Самым знаменитым экспонатом стала средневековая эмалированная панель с изображением Готфрида V.

Passionné ou non on tombe vite amoureux de ce lieu. L'exposition est juste sublime. Les informations sont vraiment bien amenées aux visiteurs . j'ai appris plein de trucs la bas !

très jolie et super beau muséel histoire est la et j aime cet endroit pour ces belles expositions qui nous racontes l histoire de l art culturel

Bien que n'étant pas une fan de pentures j'ai trouvé ce musée extrêmement intéressant et très bien organisé. De plus, la reconstitution des tombeaux Égyptiens est particulièrement bien fait!Amateurs d'art et d'Egypte : c'est un endroit inévitable!!

Mooie werken van verschillende periodes. In kelder grote Egyptische afdeling. Het is ligt in een park vlakbij het oude gedeelte van Le Mans

Ce musée est très agréable à visiter, l'exposition de peinture que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir était très intéressante.

Agréable lieu avec des collections de qualité, le nombre restreint d'œuvre permet de prendre son temps. J'ai aussi beaucoup apprécié la reproduction des tombes de la vallée des reines.

Nous nous attendions à quelque chose de plus prenant.Peu d'artiste connu, la galerie égyptienne reconstitué est un peu décevante, le point positif est le classement par période des oeuvres
