The Chateau is steeped in history which was well explained by a wonderful English speaking guide, Briony. The family living there now have done so much work and improved and refurbished so many of the rooms. It is incredible that they share it with the public, but do so with such charm and generosity. Well worth a visit.

Amazing with it's six round towers, charming with it's lovely gardens! Must be seen! A good example of French style and architecture throughout the ages.

This chateau was round the corner from where we are staying. Entrance price includes a guided tour around the chateau. Although you cannot just wander round the chateau freely it was great to get details of this grand place. The tour was in French but translation was given and the tour guides first language was English so offered translation when asked. The end of the tour was amazing finishing in the massive kitchen with soups crepes and apple juice on offer.

A lovely Chateau with beautiful gardens in a very pleasant town.Well worth a visit.A guided tour in English would have enhanced the experience but still very enjoyable.

nice quiet town with stunning chateau in the centre of the town. didn't stay long enough to give more of a review of the town but had some nice back streets that were a lovely walk in the evening

Lovely place with simple gardens. The tour inside was very detailed and busy. It was also guided, so it did limit time to take it all in and mooch about. Less flashy than many chateau in the area, but very cheap to get it in and well worth the money.

Loved the location and gardens. Chateau is quite impressive from exterior (we didn't go inside) Make sure you find the "caves" in the gardens under the chateau. We went into the orchard area even though it said Prive!

Even if you don't go inside this is a beautiful building with a lovely and well maintained garden full of interest. The beds of roses, the collection of hydrangeas and the fine trees are a joy. The landscaping is remarkable and the sculptures add something even if not to everyone's taste. The amazing barn with wide stone spiral staircase is worth the climb, the small collections of carriages and harness of moderate interest. There are lots of little mazes, fun for children. Welcoming staff.
