I visited Les Souterrains de Provins while exploring this such a beautiful village Provins. I was impressed as I hadn't expected what I saw eventually. The real ''under village'' walk. I had a chance to have such an excellent guide called Marine. She told us very interesting information about this place, it was very entertaining...

This is a walk through underground tunnels that really have a lot of history and I do recommend it, because you see some history, but again, if you don't understand french well enough, it will be difficult to learn much with the french speaking guide.

The catacombs of Provins you can visit only with a guided tour, and that's in French, but even if you can't understand French it's worth it. There's a really weird labyrinth, with masonic symbols on the walls, and there's quite a story about all that, and you go around these cold corridors and then end up in the ancient vault... By the way, these subterrains are described by Umberto Eco in "Foucot pendulum" .

The guide was very good and sympathetic. However the visit does not have enough material to support the rich history of this site.

Opening hours are a bit hard to grasp, but it's worth persevering. We had an excellent 45 min guided tour (just the two of us). The network of subterranean tunnels was originally a quarry, then used to store goods of every kind. Children would love it.

Merci à notre guide qui a su rendre la visite très intéressante et dynamique par son entrain, ses anecdotes et ses réponses à toutes nos questions. Cette visite est à faire pour toute personne visitant Provins. Elle est chargée d'histoire de part les traces et marques laissées au fil des temps que par son vécu. Nous l'avions fait aussi pour les médiévales autours du thème "Contes dans les Souterrains". Je le recommande vivement, aux adultes surtout!!

Passeio interessante e curioso mas com muitas restriçoes de horario. Se nao ficarmos atentos, perdemos a hora da visita. Acho que o horario de visitaçao deveria ser extendido.

uma caminhada pelos subterrâneos de uma cidade medieval é algo surpreendente. o unico porem é que os horarios de visitaçao sao muito restritos. Se voce perder a hora por qualquer motivo, somente no dia seguinte...

La visite des souterrains s'impose compte tenu de leur importance dans l'histoire de la cité.La visite guidée est intéressante, même s'il ne faut pas poser de questions trop compliquées aux guides...Attention à se couvrir : il y fait très frais!

Visite très instructive et intéressante, menée par un guide qui rend l'histoire vivante avec pleins d'anecdotes.À faire sans hésiter.Deux horaires de visite possible : 14 h30 ou 15 h30.Nous avions acheté un pass visite sur le site web de l'office du tourisme nous permettant de voir 4 monuments dont les souterrains. La formule est très intéressante financièrement.
