We like to drive from Montauroux (down a very bumpy lane) to within a twenty minute walk of the bridge. The walk takes you beside the river Siagne, which has amazingly clear water in which you can see the fish swimming. The gorge towers above you on the right and is most impressive. Just before you reach the bridge you can take a short diversion to the right and arrive at a small stony beach area from which, in hot weather, you can swim but be warned, the water will still be icy cold. Despite that the area is often busy at weekends and in the summer holidays. The old bridge, built in 1802 and restored in 1978, is most picturesque. If feeling energetic, you can cross over, turn right and go under the waterfall, which leads to the "chemin muletier" and all the way up to St Cezaire but it's a long hard climb and takes some time. In the old days this was the only means of communication between St Cezaire, Callian and Montauroux.

Walked down to the river from Saint Cezaire (the start is opposite the fossil shop) and it is really great with a very old stone bridge, lots of places to swim (the water was bone-chillingly cold) and jump in from the river bank, picnic spots and a really beautiful river. Walked to the next bridge with Saint Cezaire on our right, and then back up to the village. Quite steep slopes and a good 3 hours in total, including swimming and lunch, but should not be missed by any visitor to the area.

Un lieu paradisiaque. Seul bémol, la route pour y accéder jusqu'à l'usine électrique EDF, une horreur, faut avoir un 4X4 ! On nous dit qu'on ne répare pas, car laisser la route en l'état permet de limiter le trafic qui serait trop dense ! Drôle d'argument pour une commune labellisée "touristique" ! Je vais suggérer à Anne HIDALGO, qu'elle fasse creuser une tranchée autour de la tour eiffel ... Si on met un monument en avant en publiant ses photos sur toutes les plaquettes touristiques, c'est bien pour générer des visites et des randonnées sur son site non ? ou alors j'ai rien compris ... faut qu'on m'explique !!

Klein meertje in een open plak in het bos met ijskoud water en plaats voor een handdoek op de keien, zeesletsen (rubbersandalen) aanbevolen. Vlakbij is een oude brug waar de jongeren vanaf duiken in ene hele diepe plek. Je kan weer uit het water aan een keienstrandje met een gordijnwaterval. De brug en een bouwval vlakbij ziet er middeleeuws uit, maar er is geen begeleiding, geen historische duiding, geen bewegwijzering, zelfs geen Franse WC, nog geen paaltje met een bordje. Andesr had ik hier 4 ipv 3 sterren gegeven. Een uitstap van een half dagje waard.

Superbe randonnee acces unpeu compliqué pour le depart mais le pont des tuves est un site magnifique et sauvage à préserver et a ne pas manquer...

Ballade magnifique 3h30 . Acces difficile par petite route mais parking au debut de la randonnée.possibilité de baignade sur petites plages sauvages dans des eaux cristallines.

Endroit magnifique mais fragile. L'accès est difficile et tant mieux. L'eau est très claire et très fraiche. Quel plaisir d'en profiter.

Endroit à ne pas manquer jolie traversée de la forêt le long de la rivière l endroit est encore sauvage et superbe

la couleur de l'eau et les poissons, la vue, le calme et la fraicheur en ce moi de mai très chaud. L'accès à pied est un peu sportif quand on arrive par le haut mais il y a une piste plus facile pour les moins sportifs. A faire en avant ou en après saison car il y a trop de monde en été
