Three euro entry, a court yard, then rooms full of old tables, chairs, and other equipment. not a great deal to see although an interesting old building. Not many French people visiting.

Using the radio talk units we found this to be a fascinating place and learned so much about things not directly connected to Lille though of course there was a lot of info about Lille's terrific past.

History, architecture and art. Helped by the use of audio guides. We were sorry that the chapel was closed

It are the rooms more than what is in them, that tells the story of this hospice. the kitchen with its Delft blue tiles a.s.o.

This museum gives an insight into the life of a hospital, nunnery and lille itself. As others have mentioned it could do with further exhibits to give more of a sense of the period and what occurred, but what there is works. Beware of the mutant rat however that lives in the medicinal garden, made the other half squeal. Don't know who was more scared her or the rat!
