Massive site good museum ,unlike stonehenge you can be a bit more "hands on".Good value for money .small restaurant on site.Visit should take 2 to 5 hours .But be prepared to walk .

Open Sunday Mornings for Brunch Very interestingWe visited this site and were amazed that we could see and visit a tumulus that is thousands of years old. The kids really enjoyed the visit and found it hard to realize that the structures were so old.The museum is also very interesting and has a lot of old artefacts. For children the visit of the museim may be a little long since there is a lot to read. If you visit in the summer make sure you visit the museum in the morning. There is no AC in the museum and it gets very hot in the afternoon.If you have time eat at the restaurant the food is very good and affordable. Try the farci poitvin.

We had visited this site 15 years ago - and it was great then, but this time we had our children with us and the site had improved a lot. There is a neolithic village reconstruction, some guestimates as to how the tumulus might have been constructed, as well as the very good museum. The actual tumulus themselves are strangely very spirtual. The museum and its recently added new exhibits are extremely interesting for children & adults alike.

This is an excellent museum that probably deserves to be better known. It has an excellent display of neolithic finds in the main museum, which is an impressive glass building connected with the restored remains of a monastery. Audioguides in various languages mean that everyone can understand the displays. The recreated interior of a large burial chamber is particularly good.Outside, a series of paths lead through to the main barrows (burial mounds). These are explained through adjacent panels, with more information from the audioguides. The barrows are very impressive, and some can still be entered.There is a small shop, and a very good café on site; we had an excellent lunch at a reasonable price. The children enjoyed the visit too, and our seven-year-old was particularly interested in the exhibits.

This museum centres around a group of Neolithic tumuli, which visitors can explore. There is also a museum which explains the evolution (!) and lives of the people who were buried there. The site itself is not too large and is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. The staff were friendly and offered us audio guides in English at no extra cost. There is also a very nice café where you can sit and enjoy the peace, because it seems that few people visit this museum.

c'est un ensemble de tumulus datant de différentes périodes, à voir absolument avec des enfants. très instructif.possibilité de restauration sur place.

Voir des tumulus en entier, c'est unique.Il faut également voir le musé et comment il a été intégré à des bâtiments ancien.Une très belle visite.

Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et accueillant.Mais il faut vraiment aimer la préhistoire et en comparaison, les sites bretons sont plus intéressants

Cette nécropole est très impressionnante à plus d'un titre! C'est très très vieux et très très gros! On se demande comment les hommes arrivaient à faire cela il y a presque 5000ans! Sur le site, il y a aussi une reproduction d'un habitat de cette époque, je ne me serais pas douté que se serait si gros, et haut! Le musée est magnifique, et on comprend tout! Une mention toute spéciale à la cafétariat où nous avons mangé: c'était très bon, tout y est fait en produit frais (sauf les frites, peu de choix à la carte c'est bien normal!) et le chef est très sympa et passionné par son travail! Très agréable surprise!

Vorig jaar hier geweest met onze kinderen. Buiten zijn diverse tumuli, een soort overdekte hunebedden. Ook op een aantal plaatsen nagebouwde bouwplaatsen, waar getoond wordt hoe de tumuli en boerderijen gebouwd werden. Binnen een museum met veel voorwerpen, leuk om te zien. Wat erg goed was, was dat je gratis een Nederlandstalige audiotour kreeg. De toegang was ongeveer €12 voor z'n vieren, met dus vier audiotours met uitgebreide informatie over de bezienswaardigheden binnen en buiten.
