Taking Le Petit train was a great way to see the Old Town. The ride was somewhat bumpy - cobblestones of course - but we did enjoy it. It also led us to several places later that we would otherwise have missed.

Good way to see the highlights of old Nancy! Headphones point out the highlights. Very enjoyable! It provides open windows, good visibility, and does have to backtrack from time to time due to traffic, one-way streets, etc.

This little train meets up right behind the Le' Here Arch in the gravel yard. It was a nice slow ride and the driver would stop so that the narration could play through and you could take it all in. The tour concentrated on the north and west areas mainly which appear to be where the main sites area. Our children enjoyed the ride and wanted to go again.

This was worth the train ride. 6.50 euros each adult for 45 mins. There is also earphones to listen to the commentary in several different languages.

This is a good way to hear about some of the history and see parts and highlights that one would normally miss, but the train was moving a bit too fast for any good photo opportunities and did not stop enroute.

The little train is a very good idea to take when you want a first view of the city. There is an audio guide on board which gives you explainations about where you are and what there is to see. It takes a small hour for the entire tour (you can't get off though during the ride - it's not a hop-on-hop-off).

I'm all about city tours to get aquatinted with this city, but petite train is not a way to do it…Awful narration that was constantly lagging and would talk about objects that we already passed. If you truly want to explore the city, take a walking tour with a map and walk through all small alleys and sit and eat ice-cream somewhere, and people watch. The city is so small you can do a self walking tour of major sights by foot.
