Worth braving the crowds in the few weeks they are open to the public, the royal greenhouses, signed by the same architect that made Le Botanique, are a beautifully landscaped collection of local and exotic plants, among which a plethora of flowers. The dates of opening vary a little, but always land in the first weeks of spring. Check the site www.monarchie.be for precise information.

Plants of over the world, brought back or received from excellencies in visit in Brussels, this is an amazing collection of plants and flowers. But be aware it's only available for public visit some days once a year, mostly in May.

Only open for a couple of weeks in May but worth the lengthy queues to get in. Beautiful plants and impressive architecture.

the kings collection of flora and fauna set in a private garden in the grounds of the palace - who could wish for more. Try to go when there is an evening opening to see the magical lighting and effect... it will transport you.. Take a good camera...

Once a year the Royal greenhouse is opended ofr the public during 2 weeks. For a few euros you can visit the property following a guided path trough the property. A unique visit at a unique location. Get on the internet for the opening hours, best to visit during the week, I personally go there around noon to avoid the masses. On mondays closed to replace the flowers that are dead.

The chance to see the Greenhouses of the Royal Palace. Nice place to take visitors although a little out of town, so a car is essential.
