I absolutely adore this cave! It is not as impressive as some other caves in Slovenia (Škocjan, Postojna), but the underground water-lake experience cannot be compared to anything else. I went first to the 1.5h trip and then next time to the 4h trip - both times great guides, lots of information (&humor) and just pure, beautiful underground nature. Especially 4h trip is breathtaking and worth the money and the time. I was bit surprised by the overals, helmet ... but I guess they know best what are they doing :) One would be surprised how many people do not know about this cave - because it is led by true "cave enthusiasts", that care more about the cave than about promotion. Worth seeing!

More that it is impressive, it is an enjoyable cave trip. It is not as big and impressive as Postojna Caves, but it is even more fun due to the personal guided tour that also takes you on a small lake. Very nice. For adventurous people, it is possible to continue on foot and see some much less touristic parts of this long cave.Before entering the cave, you have to wear an overall and a light with its battery attached.

We took the long, 4hrs, experience. Travelled across 14 lakes in a surreal, underground world. Crossing crystal clear waters (although the guide said this is dependent on weather conditions) in a rubber boat is like a scene from lord of the rings, but without the goblins. It is great to be part of an experience only so little can do (1,000 people/yr). Wow, if you can make it, go for this great adventure.

We took the 4,5 hour tour across approx 14 lakes. Had a great guide with lot of knowledge aboiut the cave and took all time to explian everything.This long tour needs to be reserved long in advance, shorter one hour tour can be reserved on short notice, but only crosses one lake.

We went in April, called ahead to arrange a trip on one of the days when the cave was closed. We were only seven people, took the 1.5 hour trip (we has kids in the party) an had a great time. It was especially adventurous for the kids!
