This Basilica has been iconic to me since childhood. I had always wanted to get married here due to it's magnificent beauty and charm. The basilica is stunning, even more so at night. It's beauty and charm carries on inside the church, which is open throughout most the day. However, this attraction should not be planned to take up huge amounts of time as it is more of a quick visit while exploring Trnava. This basilica is an iconic part of Trnava and Trnava would not be the same without it's presence.

This in one of the many interesting sights in Trnava and as a church it is quite spectacular. The whole town is worth the visit and once you are there this in one of the highlights

We went to fantastic recital -part of annual festival in this beautiful church on last night of our Slovakian stay- Daniel Roth was the organist- french pieces incl. his own compositions. What accoustics! What playing!! and only a 5 min walk up the cobbled street to the venue from our hotel.

appena arrivati a trnava ci siamo rivolti al fornitissimo ufficio turistico che ci ha fornito una mapta dettagliata della città con i vari siti di interesse, ma purtroppo avevamo a disposizione solo un pomeriggio, così abbiamo deciso di fare un giro per la città. questa chiesa, con i suoi due campanili ci ha colpiti molto ed è stata il soggetto di molte nostre foto!! purtroppo, però, era già chiusa quando siamo arrivati, quindi ci siamo dovuti accontentare dell'esterno!

É um grande monumento gótico localizado na praça Námestie Sv. Mikuláša. Não é apenas uma igreja paroquial, mas também um centro de atividades culturais e religiosas da cidade. É famosa pelo festival internacional de música de órgão, chamado Trnavske organové dni, realizado todos os anos no final de agosto.
