Norielle

One who has travelled around the world has probably seen more spectacular singing fountain shows, but the one in Košice is lovely and charming, especially by night after the spectacle in the nearby State Theatre finishes. The water jets "dance" to the tune being played and lights add to the show. It's completely free and the surrounding park is a great place to sit down and relax, its trees providing shade on a hot summer day.

I'm a hopeless romantic and I think this was very sweet. Beautiful colours and charming surrounding. It's just made Kosice even prettier, definitely worth to stop there.

Very beautiful place in the hisotircal centre. From spring till snow falls there´s always music according to which the fountain "sings" . Good place to sit and listen for a while during a stressful day.

It's the best place in Kosice, when it's hot in summer. The kids will enjoy it. There is another fountain on the main street with fish.

Amazing place for many different moods. If you want to have a nice chat with someone, with atmosphere of dancing water but hidden in tree shades or just want to get deep into your own mind, thinking about anything, this is a great place to sit and stay for a while. If you want peace, come here in the morning, when main street is still a bit sleepy!

Nice fountain in the hearth of the city. Lots of restaurants and cafes are located nearby. The point of the singing part is the music which is played from speakers and bells. Fountain is trying to cooperate with rythm of the music...sometimes better sometimes not. From this place you can see National theatre and Saint Elizabeth's Catedral what is nice.Beautiful place for walk or sit for a moment.

Fountain is in a lovely square. Easy access from the city centre. Lots of bars & cafes surround the square & it's a lovely place to just sit & have an ice cream We saw the fountain twice - wasn't playing music on the Tuesday we went to visit. The bells however are great fun.

The fountain doesn't "sing" as such, but classical music played through speakers in the park accompany synchronised surges and falls from the fountains. I found it quite pleasant to watch for a few minutes on a warm August afternoon before the novelty wore off. The splashing of the water from the fountains was louder than the music without ever managing to totally drown it out. And, of course, it's free!!

lovely area with easy access to bars restaurants and shops. fountain lovely on the night,spoiled a little during the day with a drunken clown trying to spoil everyones photograph. worth a visit as its a lovely area

Great photo opp place and a great place for the Slovak people to congregate. It was in the heart of the town close to other attractions.
