this is a great place to walk around in. it is clean and well kept. the gardeners make a real effort. The signs on the trees are self explanatory. the little tea house, welcomes one to sit down and look around

These garden were absolutely beautiful. Having been to Japan, and having Japanese family I can vouch for the authenticity of this place. There are lots of information cards for French speakers and children love to watch the koi carp in the lake. There is a souvenir stand nearby selling ice creams.I only have one caveat- there is only one word to describe the toilets and that is 'dodgy'- they are two flights down dingy stairs, past rubbish bins, and the lights at the bottom don't work- Monaco seems a safe place but I felt unsafe and wary down there. Public toilets were quite scarce, but I would recommend going to the ones at the Grimaldi forum if you can.

Magical space that will look much better in 100 years. It is strange to see a brand new landscape trying to be old traditional...Beautiful but not ancient, authentic but without the magic of age.

Having been a fan of Grace Kelly, I made it a point to visit these lovingly-laid gardens and had quite a peaceful, charming time there. Talk of typical Japanese pavilions and Tea-house as well as picturesque bridges, pond and waterfalls; this garden has them all!!

I love the Japanese Gardens in Monaco - walking through them on a quiet Sunday morning is like walking through a Japanese garden in Japan.

Beautiful Japanese style gardens located on the Monte Carlo seafront. They aren't very large, but include a lake with koi carp and some scenic bridges, a teahouse, a pavilion, and a waterfall. They are very nice for walking around. They were peaceful when I was there in January, although I can imagine in high season they must get busy as there's not much room. They are worth a short visit as part of a walk along the promenade. I'd recommend an early or late visit if coming in high season.

Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful, well kept. Liked the ambience, there was nothing we disliked. There was no one around when we visited in January and so was lovely to walk around
