Went and saw AS Monaco play Le Havre last week at the Louis II stadium in Monaco. apart from the actual game being very average, the whole atmosphere of the stadium was considerably lacking. The view from teh seats was good, however the whole structure and layout of the walkways and stairs and escalators was poor. it appears to be a dated stadium, which in itself is not a bad thing. I simply believe that it needs a re-furb.

If you have some extra time to spend in Monaco and the local team (AS Monaco FC) is playing, why not give it a try...The interesting thing about this stadium is its architecture. It was built in a way to fir right in with the rest of the buildings. It also has a 3000seat Basketball court, a 1000 seat olympic swimming pool and a university all in the same structure.Don't go in expecting an incredible atmosphere (Monaco games averaged about 9,000people during their years in the first league (now it is about 4,000 people per game as they are playing in the second league). Total capacity is just under 20,000.

Stade multi-sports datant de 30 ans qui mériterait d'être modernisé pour répondre aux normes actuelles des stades européens des équipes jouant la Champion's League.Le point positif est que le stade est en centre ville et le parking sous le stade.L'inconvénient est que le stade est en centre ville et que pour en sortir les soirs d'affluence et il y en a contrairement à ce que peuvent croire les septiques, il faut plus d'une heure.Les plupart des salons ne donnent pas directement sur les places ce qui n'est pas optimum.Les buvettes auraient besoins d'être transformées pour les rendre plus atttractives.

Helaas was het niet mogelijk een rondleiding te maken of ook maar enigszins het veld of iets van het stadion binnen te bekijken. Dit kwam door de tijd van het jaar, want dit is normaliter wel mogelijk. Er is verder een groot sportcentrum gehuisvest in en bij het stadion.

Estádio de futebol é tudo muito parecido, mas o que interessa mesmo ver uma partida de futebol. Vale a pena acompanhar um jogo.
