The town is the best over night. Mysterious and tiny streets are magical. Off season means no tourists! It has a real medieval feeling. Even our kids loved it!

Cesky Krumlov is a small medieval town offering unique architecture, cobbled streets with many small souvenir shops and a fairytale castle with amazing view! There are lots of restaurants offering traditional Czech dishes and a great Italian restaurant as an alternative. I highly recommend it for a day trip, as it is about 2-3 hours drive from Prague (student agency is the best bus service). Don't miss this!

Cesky Krumlov is a town straight out of a fairytale! Especially when a light dusting of snow covers the orange rooftops... Absolutely stunning! The historic centre is full of souvenir shops, selling beautiful Czech items. I visited in late February so escaped the crowds and experienced the town in a less 'touristy' fashion.Well worth a day trip from Prague or Ceske Budejovice (which is also worth checking out!)

It's a relaxing 2 days and if in the summer add some adventure with rafting or canoeing in the area.
