We were told by the castle tour guide that this room was painted entirely by one artist. The mixture of aristocratic and common people depicted on the walls is interesting, and i would imagine that this is a wonderful place to hear concerts.

A definite must see when in the castle is this ballroom from yesteryear with its amazing paintings which entertained the dancers all those years ago all in vivid detail, spot the likes of Harlequin and Scaramouche etc, and to think this beautiful ballroom then leads of onto a theatre!! they were certainly not short entertainment. When you first walk into the ballroom it fair takes your breath away.

You must see this one. It is inside the castle - and you have to pay for the castle tour to get to see this one. It is a delightful room with masquerades painted all over the walls. Photography is not allowed inside.

When you go to the castle in Cesky Krumlov make sure to take at least one tour of the inside. While you can stroll through the outside courtyards and gardens for free, you must pay for a tour to see the ballroom and castle interiors. Check at the ticket booth for the times for the English tours, as there are usually only three each day. You meet for your tour in the second courtyard and are treated to a feast for the eyes as you walk through the beautifully decorated castle rooms. The highlight of this tour is the masquerade ballroom, a brightly painted chandelier-lit room that is a delight to see. Don't miss it as it is very impressive!

Decorated with people at a masquerade ball. Artist had a sense of humour and tried lots of interesting techniques to make it seem like the people were part of the ball.

The decoration of this room is amazing. I want to know so much more about the people painted around the room, which unfortunately our guide did not have time to tell us. Even so it would be well worth doing the castle tour to see this room alone. Just cannot get it out of my head. The rest of the castle tour was extremely interesting. Don't miss it.

The only way to see the ballroom is to take the tour of the Castle. It's one of the rooms in the castle and is a very interesting place.

Для посещения этого чудесного Бального Зала и других галерей Замка нужно в кассе замка выбрать время и язык экскурсии для осмотра с гидом Замка. С заранее купленным билетом подойдите ко времени начала экскурсии в Дворик Сграфитто и за час вы увидете удивительно хорошо сохранившиеся интерьеры и этот Зал персонажей комедий Дель Арте. Только ради этого стоит приехать в Крумлов!
