This bridge I think is the second oldest bridge in central EuropeMust been build by real builders because last flats it survived , and quite few new one did not.just. Just show you without computers and highly educated engineers they build better bridges than.

For those who like history and bridges especially. Part of historical city center. It makes sense to spend half or one day walking and enjoy the atmosphere.

When in Pisek you must walk over their historic bridge which dates back as one of the oldest still intact in all of Europe. However, don't expect to be wowed by its flamboyance, especially since being heavily damaged by a flood in about 2002. You need to image back to ancient times to really appreciate its significance.

This is located a short walk from our hotel, Hotel Biograf. Despite major floods this bridge is still wonderful to look at and a great place to take photos.

Pisek is a small city with an atmosphere. This is a place you cannot miss (and will not - believe me). One of the oldest bridges in Europe (older that Charles bridge in Prague), also known as Deer bridge. Statues on the bridge are nice, however are copies (originals are in Pisek museum, where they were put after last major flood in 2002. Still well worth visiting, taking few photos, feeding swans and ducks and having a coffee in one of few cafeterias with the view to the bridge. Please note that every mid of June they erect temporary sand statues at the food of the bridge (mostly they last few weeks, easily until September) that are giving this place that extra glitch.

The statues on the stone bridge are nice, and its worth walking over it to the "less central' part and walking a little around the streets there, and along the river. There is a nice cafe on the other side looking on to the bridge and waters. There were lovely big sand statues along the shore of the river when I was there. enjoy Pisek!

This is a lovely little bridge with fabulous history attached to it. One of the oldest bridges in Europe with a wonderful view. Great spot for picture taking and is surrounded by lovely little coffee places. I highly recommend you put it on places to visit when in the Czech Republic :)

Numa viagem de negócios passei um noite na cidade Pisek. A ponto é o local de maior atração na cidade. Recomendo a visita a esta cidade que se encontra aproximadamente a 140km the Praga. Recomendo

Старинный каменный мост со скульптурами святых. Находится в историческом центре тихого приятного города, не избалованного туристами. Рекомендую прогуляться от моста по набережной с противоположной от замка стороны реки, ухоженная набережная, красивые виды.

Этот мост старше знаменитого моста в Праге на добрую сотню лет, но мало популярен среди туристов. Внешне они очень похожи, только в Писеке нет ворот перед мостом. Но сам мост так же украшен статуями. Мы стояли на мосту целых полчаса и мимо не прошел ни один человек. Вечером над королевским замком, что рядом с мостом и самим мостом начинают кружиться летучие мыши. Атмосфера непередаваемая.
