Beautiful church on the outside. Can't really say something about the inside because they asked an entrance fee and we didn't want to pay that.

One of the highlights on my last trip to Rīga. There was a choir contest going on at the time we entered the church, so we couldn't go into the nave, but we were able to go to the top of the tower and have a spectacular panoramic view of Rīga. A remarkably beautiful city by foot, it's even more enchanting seeing it from above. A must-see!

Nice little church in middle of old town. Massive wooden doors will take you back in centuries. Beautiful . Try going up to see the view

The view of Riga from the top of St. Peter's church was mesmerizing. I do not regret purchasing the ticket to go up, but the price was definitely inflated. 7€ for an adult, just to ride up an elevator and view the city. Moreover, there are large bars surrounding the top of the church so it's impossible to take a picture with yourself in it and the view of the city. Other than that, again, I don't regret the short experience.

Once arrived in Riga, I began visiting traditional Lutheran churches of Latvia. Yes, Dome's Cathedral could be impressive, no doubt, but St. Peter's Church struck me with its special atmosphere, calm ambiance and " divine" sounds of chorus.Luckilly, there were just a few tourists, so that I managed to appreciate everything without being distracted. The ticket for visiting is a little pricey, but it's definitely worth visiting the place. And don't omit to see the Riga city from St. Peter's Church Tower, panorama is just fantastic ! It takes your breath away, especially if it's windy.
