Booked this as my wedding venue (ceremony, meal, accommodation, etc.) and we could not complain about anything. We booked the entire hotel, all the rooms for family & friends and everyone thought the venue was just perfect. We will be going back again to stay in the future just to remind ourselves how wonderful it was.The rooms were perfect, the food was great, the staff were wonderful, what more could you want.Great job everyone at Sventes Muiza!!!!

Since some time I wanted to visit this renovated manor house. In this part of Latvia you don't get big choice of accomodation and dining possibilities. It's good that at least one historical place is renovated and provides decent service to travelers. Alas, restoration and interiors are done in post-soviet style (evroremont). I rate hotel as 3* with large rooms, but second rate equipment. Free wi-fi. Service is shy. Here is little bit pretentious restaurant with very limited choice of wine, but at least you get some choice of food.Nice surroundings are spoilt by nearby soviet era relics. Receptionist will open vehicles museum for you.

Музей прямо рядом с усадьбой Светнес. Экспонатов не так много, но они интересные и можно полазить по танкам. Есть каски- можно пофотографироваться как три танкиста

Останавливались в усадьбе едва ли не в первую очередь из-за музея, но, к сожалению, теперь он работает строго по расписанию - с 12 до 19 часов и закрывается автоматически.Поэтому успели забежать в ангар буквально минут на десять, но впечатления незабываемые :)Держать в наши дни такую коллекцию боевой техники на полном ходу - просто восхитительно! :) Мой муж был рад, как ребенок. Хозяин, безусловно, очень увлеченный человек. Хорошо, когда для увлечений у тебя есть и возможность и столько места!

Замечательное место для отдыха( есть гостиница, ресторан). Природа вокруг изумительная. Все замечательно отреставрировано. Шикарное место для семейных торжеств, свадеб и др.мероприятий
