I was there for a classic motorcycles race weekend, supporting an italian friend who races in these events throughout Italy. Compared to smaller racetracks I'm used to this is a world player! I enjoyed the weekend enormously, as this is one of my passions.

Went to the MOTOGP on September 14th and it was the best racing experience of my life.A fantastic location great track great atmosphere brilliant people and had the pleasure of seeing valentine rossi win his home race!!Next year 2015 the wife and myself are riding down to Italy for the race!!highly recommend!!!!!!!

Misano was my second motoGP venue and was not disappointed. The motoGP fans are great as are the competitors who seem very grateful towards their fans. A class act in all regards. VR won at his home track , the atmosphere was fantastic. Was seated in grandstand D, a seat cushion would have been a nice commodity as the stand is cement. Despite some reviews that complained of high prices I found prices OK for such a venue. Met some great fans sitting along side, from France,England and of course Italy ! My next vacation will be planned to include another motoGP race.

Bring euros, not credit cards.... very few vendors would take credit card on race day. Rent a bicycle from your hotel for easiest in/out from the races.

Just back from a trip to Italy which main purpose was the San Marino MotoGP at Misano Adriatico. It was my first MotoGp experience and it didn't disappoint. I sat at the Tribuna Brutapela where the home favorite Valentino Rossi fan club is located (being a fan myself) and had a fantastic time watching my idol The Doctor win his first race of the season.The circuit itself is located very close to the Misano Adriatico (3km), so you can actually walk from your hotel to the track. There were bus stops on the way so I suppose you can use the local transportation if you don't want to walk or don't have a car.We were staying at Rimini (the hotel was 17km away) and the gps found the track pretty easily. In fact it picked a side road, that was away from the hustle and we got there in no time at all. Was a little worried where to leave our car, but there were plenty of locals that open their backyards where you can park for 5-10 eur a day. I got information that there is some field that you can actually park for free but I did not find it. But I was ok paying anyway.You can not walk freely around the track on race day, so you must stick to your places. The tribuna I was in has toilet facilities (very clean) and food stall for refreshments. 1.50 euro for a coffee, 2-4 euros for drinks, 5-6 euros for sandwiches. You can bring your own food if you like. Bring a blanket, as the rows are stone and it can be cold to sit on the whole day. As far I could see the other stands had plastic seats, so no such problems for them.The view from the Brutapela itself was great, we could see 1/3 of the track and actually all the drama happened in front our eyes. The Rossi home town of Tavullia is 20km away so it is a must in a nice sunny day. There you can visit the Valentino Rossi fan club and sign for membership as proposed (and get the goodies for 40 euro), but in fact on the race day there was a portable fan club stand at the circuit so many people were signing on spot.Getting back to the hotel was not that difficult - the local police was very organized and divided the traffic on different routes so there were no huge queues.I would recommend this place for every MotoGp and Rossi fan.

My wife and I are huge Valentino Rossi fans and watching him win the race at Misano was the highlight of our year!

The circuit is within walking distance of the town of Misano which meant you weren't stuck in traffic. The facilities at the circuit were fairly good and on a par with UK circuits.

Had a great time at Misano. We sat in grandstand D which has a good view of the last couple of corners, however it is a pain not being able to walk around the track to see other points of view. You can walk around on the Friday, so ensure you buy a Prato 1,2 or 3 ticket for Friday. Take binoculars to see the screens. If you don't speak Italian it is difficult to keep up with what's going on on-track.We had a VIP pass to enter the paddock on the Thursday night... Which was absolutely unbelievable! Met a load of riders and was even invited into Karel Abraham's garage to have a look at his bike!Bring your own food and drink. The lines are huge and it's expensive. €4 for a can of coke. Found coffee was ok. €2 for a cappuccino.The transport is really unorganised and even the Italians themselves have no idea what buses were going where.In the end we decided on bus 11 which runs along the coast from Rimini to Riccione, to get to the Riccione bus station and then got on the 125 from Riccione to Misano train station. We then walked from the train station 1-2km. The walk was ok, only 1 small hill! The bus ticket was €1,30 valid for 60 minutes.If you are a Valentino Rossi fan, head out to Tavullia before the race and sign up to his fan club. You receive a tshirt & cap as part of the 1 year membership all for €40 - whereas a tshirt from his official merchandise stand is between €30-45.Fantastic atmosphere here at Misano. They adore Valentino Rossi and he didn't disappoint this year!

Track is a fantastic place for motorcycling, experienced or not, it is a fantastically awesome track to ride. Nice mix of quick and slow corners and high speed sections.

brilliant circuit for spectating.easy access from local town.food and drink in the circuit not as bad of a rip off as it usually is..Monument to Marco Simmoncelli in centre of roundabout outside circuit is stunning
