Piazza Cavalli is the central square of Piacenza, where the city hall is located. It's a nice place to visit, especially when there is an open air market. near by there are many nice small coffee shops and restaurants, ahere one can have Italian coffee or taste excellent Italian food.

Went to Piacenza for a day in mid-December and this was a lovely little stroll. There was a Christmas market set up and it was an easy place to browse for gifts and such. The square itself is very pretty, although it's even better in the evening when the lights are on. It didn't strike me as a place to spend an afternoon or anything, but I spent at least half an hour there on two occasions. Very pretty. And the memorial for local victims of each world war was pretty incredible.

Quieter at night and ideal place to people watch and soak up atmosphere. This is the main medieval town square in Piacenza, with buildings around it.

A dull square in a rather dull town. A waste of time.There are much more interesting places in the neighbourhood.

This square is terrific to look at from all sides, with strikingly different architectural styles - mainly from building that originally housed the banks for which the city was famous in medieval times. At all times of the day and evening the square presents the life of Piacenza - with shoppers, cyclists and passers-by. There are good cafes and bars from which the whole scene can be enjoyed.

I remember to enjoying the scenery in this piazza. I also remeber the tourist info to be situated in one of the buildings, but you have to know the working hours and days, since you may be dissapointed.

Once of the nicest of central squares in Lombardy (where there are many good ones). The two equestrian statues add to its charm.

La particolarità di questa piazza sono i 2 cavalli ma ci sono anche 2 bellissimi palazzi attorno uno anche con una vecchia meridiana,da passarci

A 5 minuti dal parcheggio coperto fuori dalla ztl, da qui abbiamo cominciato a visitare la città. Il centro Info turistiche si trova qui.
