Unique atmosphere even in the rain. Lovely food at Osteria Al Caminetto best ever hand made pasta ripiena with some fantastic filling. Would love a return visit hoping for better weather.

This is a fascinating medieval village, with its own church, castle, shops, restaurants and attractions. Parking is cheap (€3) and entry to the village is free. There are so many interesting diversions inside - from a collection of ancient Italian tractors and agricultural equipment, to medieval displays and activities. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. The architecture presents photo opportunities galore.

It's true: the village of Grazzano Visconi is totally fake but it's charming anyway...Being there feels like being in a big amusement park where you, despite all the other visitors, you end up having a great day.To be honest, there are better sites to visit all along Italy but if you find yourself in the neighborhood of Piacenza...why don't go there?

I'm fortunate enough to have an Italian fiancee so this summer I visited Italy for 2 1/2 months. We visited four Castle's while I was there and Grazzano Visconti was the first. We visited in August and since most of the country is on vacation, there were only a few shops open. It was still worth the few hours that we spent there and I will have to see it again on my next trip to Italy. Since my tour guide is my wife to be, it made the trip even more special. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to visit and I will visit again.

G.V. Is a bit like marmite - you either like it or not. It's a medieval village - totally fake as it was built just over 100 years ago by the Visconti family. I think it is well worth a visit - they have a really good agricultural museum area and a good selection of tourist shops without the rip off prices that you usually find.

ένα χωριό που ο χρόνος σταμάτησε στον μεσαίωνα, αλλά που παραμένει στην ζωή. Αξίζει ιδικά να επισκεφτείς την φάρμα με όλα τα αγροτικά εραλεία που ήταν σε χρήση εδώ και 500 χρόνια.

Paese esclusivamente da visitare!! Atmosfera d'altri tempi, un ambiente gradevole che ti trasporta indietro nel tempo. Portateci i bambini!! Attenzione però che ci sono date in cui vengono fatte le rappresentazioni e, in quei giorni le presenze aumentano in maniera esponenziale. Da visitare assolutamente!!

domenica mattina ci siamo recati in questo borgo medievale. il primo approccio è positivo, sembra quasi una puntata del trono di spade....poi più lo giri ti rendi conto che è un po' troppo per turisti. andrebbe ripensato come un borgo da vivere con più entusiasmo e vitalità. cmq non male...

Grazzano Visconti è un borgo costruito originariamente nello stesso periodo in cui venne costruito il Duomo di Milano su commissione di Gian Galeazzo Visconti in correlazione con il matrimonio di sua sorella Beatrice con Anguissola, non è quindi, come qualcuno ha scritto un posto creato per i turisti, ma anzi, un autentico borgo medioevale dove ci si può rilassare passeggiando e respirando l'atmosfera dei tempi passati lasciandosi trasportare dall'immaginazione...certo ha subito interventi di ristrutturazione all'inizio del precedente secolo più che altro per meglio rappresentare le caratteristiche dei borghi del medioevo! lo consiglio a tutti coloro che si vogliono svagare e passare una giornata in relax con la famiglia

Grazzano visconti, nota negli anni scorsi per la location del bellissimo film di troisi, e' uno splendido borgo medioevale alle porte di piacenza... bellezza indiscussa
