I find this place very unique and fascinating if you wish to see how sailor's life of this small and typical city was like in ancient times. Excellent price / quality ratio, nice pieces of art, very beautiful boat inside, everything you need to know about sailing in the sea, and little curiosities such as ancient wooden shoes of sailors. For such a small price (literally 2€ entire price and 1€ reduced ticket), you shouldn't miss it!

Cesenatico is a fabulous place to stay we stayed for a week and it was superb the museum is both outside and inside The outer part is lit up at night and provides a stunning backdrop to the bustling restaurants along the quayThe harbour is a magnet for the locals who are treated to lots of street artists lovely ice cream parlours and fantastic seafood restaurants a great place to visit

The display of sailing barges at the head of the port canal is a "head turner".These beautiful timber ships from a near forgotten era were the backbone of commerce in the Adriatic from Roman times up to the 1920s, when larger powered vessels marked their decline.The newly restored museum itself is on the north side of the canal close to the floating displays.The interior displays explain the importance of the sailing luggers and fishing boats as well as the importance of the fishing industry to the town. An interesting hours visit.

We liked a visit to museum of Marineria in Cesenatico, which is located in a famous port of cesenatico. It is interesting that the boats are exhibited not only INSIDE the museum but also OUTSIDE, on the canal. It is a really beautiful sight, especially in the evening!

E' un luogo unico ed emozionante, utile a raccontare la storia di Cesenatico (ma anche quella della marieneria italiana e di un mestiere dignitoso come quello del marinaio) a grandi e piccoli, stabilendo punti di contatto tra il passato ed il presente. Da visitare!

Lungo il canale di Leonardo da Vinci, sono presenti le barche, parte del museo, ma l'edificio l'ho scoperto per caso, moderno, due piani, con barche, attrezzature per la marina,pesca, storie del paese e della gente, foto d'epoca.Besides the canal (Leonardo Vinci designed) you can see fisherman's boats and the museum building with boats, old memorabilia, photos, history of the town.

ho scoperto il museo solo l'ultimo giorno a poche ore dalla partenza.me ne avevano parlato in hotel ma l'avevo snobbato pensandolo una solita noia (viaggio con un bimbo).Errore!mio figlio ha imparato tante cose e continua a chiedermi di riportarlo... peccato sia troppo distante!ci vediamo la prossima estate.

Bello, bello, tutti lo dicono ma in pochi si ricordano di aggiungere che... non si entra in una classica sala da museo bensì si fa una piacevole passeggiata lungo una parte del Porto Canale di Cesenativo adibita a Museo della marineria. Attraversando i ponti al centro del paese e passeggiando lungo entrambe le rive di un tratto di Porto Canale compreso, appunto, tra i due ponti, si possono leggere le notizie riguardanti le belle imbarcazioni esposte, incise sui cartigli dl metallo posti sulla terrafera, in corrispondenza di ogni barca, se ne possono ammirare i colori, le suggestive vele, se ne può persino percepire l'odore. Le imbarcazioni, perfettamente tenute ed in grado di navigare, in dicembre sono abbellite dagli addobbi natalizi liminosi mentre il bragozzo più grande ospita uno straordinario e particolare presepe a grandezza naturale. Piacevolissimo in estase e poetico in inverno!
