I cross the main road who sourrends "Parco Nazionale del Circeo" many times during last years, its a fresh and amazing road very small, from Bella Farnia leads to Sabaudia town.Just on the lefts, those incredible forest, dark and similar to "the village" movie;finally me and my girl decided to discover it! We said: today no beach, lets go there.We went to the main entrance of the park: we didnt know where to park, no park space. Then we tried..I took our bikes with us, came in and start to ride inside..Tons of mosquitos, and other insects followed us for all the two hours trip..after one km, another path on the lefts: a small bridge on wood, very old and dangerous, the bike couldnt walk in the path: a big part of a tree was there.We tried to go forward..on the path: some signals really old and not clean, the informations were NOT made, we didnt know where to go, the weather was hot and humid, and we reached the other side of the park.There, worst: a old old gate, quiet damaged..on the right some benches in the wood...damaged too..the toilets with a paper on it "Closed"..a guy inside his old car with a blonde girl looked to us..maybe they were smoking hash because seemed to be worried. We were in "resident evil" scene, I change direction, we came back to the main entrance and leave it fastly with my car.AVOID IT

Lots of traffic, but also lots of Sunday cyclists. The weekend we were there, there were also many many mushroom seekers. Visitors should be aware that parking requires the purchase of a ticket from a machine along the road.

One of the best places to stay in Italy. Wonderful beaches, lakes, mountains, islands and dunas... perfect if you love wild nature and a calm place to stay not so far from Rome.

passeggiata tra i sentieri nella foresta molto entusiamsante, abbiamo visto parte delle antiche paludi, dopo pochi metri ci si dimentica di essere ad un passo da sabaudia e si viene trasportati indietro di centinaia di anni. una esperienza che consiglio a tutti

è una passeggiata che consiglio a tutti, una bella giornata nella natura è spettacolare. Ogni anno la rifaccio. Consiglio di studiare bene i sentieri prima di intraprendersi autonomamente.

Abito a San Felice e conosco bene almeno 3 ambienti del Parco. Il promontorio è il mio preferito: Quarto Caldo per i suoi colori e profumi, Quarto Freddo per gli asparagi e i funghi. Lo vivo a piedi e in MTB. Provo rabbia però quando vedo tutto lasciato andare in malora: aree picnic arrangiate, sentieri senza manutenzione, cartelli segnaletici inesistenti, filo spinato per terra in pieno sentiero, mucchi di eternit frantumato. Dovrebbe essere commissariato.

E' semplicemente favoloso, e se non fosse per il degrado di alcuni sentieri (soprattutto quelli che partono da San Felice Circeo) sarebbe da 5 stelle. Montagna, mare e lago tutto in uno. Se non ci siete mai stati, andateci!

bello l'ambiente palustre ,molti volatili avvistati . Peccato la mancanza di capanni o torrette da birdwatching
