We spend every afternoon of our ten days stay at this beach. Clean, friendly staff, surprisingly not too crowded. Enjoy!

Parking was easy - we rented a pair of sun bed and umbrella for 10 euro a day. The sun beds were very comfortable with shade for reading. We tried the restaurant - the first one just after you park - the octopus salad and grilled fish were fantastic. Beach was clean yellow sand well maintained great sun so definitely better than Ansedonia beach which is with black sand and feel dirty... I will definitely go here if you are in Ortelbello.

La Feniglia is the southern strip of land connecting Monte Argentario to the mainland. It is a lovely nature reserve, about 6km long, consisting of marshy lagoon on one side, a sandy beach on the other and pine-covered sand dunes in the middle. Lovely for walking or cycling.We hired bikes and cycled from one end to the other and back again. There are suitable tracks running along both sides of the strip and along the middle, so you have plenty of choice. It was a lovely cycle ride and we saw several deer and a tortoise, lots of bird and lizards, and only a couple of other people in the 3 hours that we were cycling. Wear mosquito repellant as the reserve is so near the lagoon – I got bitten twice on the face. You can hire bikes at both ends of the strip - we hired ours from the Monte Argentario/Porto Ercole end. From the road that circumnavigates the island, follow the signs to Feniglia and park in a big car park/motor caravan park on the right. The bike hire place is on the left in the car park. It cost about E10 to hire a bike for a whole day.If you exit the car park and turn right towards Feniglia, you will soon come across a turning on the left that takes you to the reserve (look out for a yellow signpost). If you don’t turn left here, the road takes will take you to the beach car parks and bars, if you prefer to just laze in the sun.The beach runs along the entire south side of La Feniglia, so you have plenty of choice of where to go. It is sandy so good place for swimming.

Fantastica spiaggia lunga diversi chilometri. Davvero una perla della natura. Area incontaminata. Il mare e' decisamente stupendo. La spiaggia confina con una bellissima pineta.

Spiaggia bellissima selvaggia e incontaminata! Raggiungibile in bicicletta! Attenzione fuggire dopo le 18.30 in periodo estivo per attacchi zanzare

Passeggiata molto bella e adatta a tutti, soprattutto alle famiglie, alle coppie, a chi ama andare in bici. Si lascia la macchina in un park e si percorre a piedi/bici la lunga striscia di sabbia che collega Orbetello alla terraferma. La passeggiata e' tutta in ombra (pini domestici, sughere, ecc.). Ogni tanto vi è un "taglio" per accedere alla spiaggia, lunghissima, bianca e selvaggia. Quando l'ho vista io il mare era un po' mosso, ma conferiva all'insieme un che di molto pittoresco.Noi abbiamo percorso l'andata lungo la pineta e il ritorno lungo la spiaggia. E' stata veramente una gran bella passeggiata!!

Per un "pigro" come me, faticoso ma ne vale veramente la pena.Partenza di mattina presto con "assaggio" dell'intera spiaggia
